Can you belive this ?

ok, at my job today someone on my team was emailing back and forth with the boss about work loads and the boss said your inefficient and this was his reply

"I don't appreciate being called inefficient when I work from 8 to 5 everyday and do the best I can. We need more people doing Job A or I need assigned less work to do."

now we keep track of all the tasks assigned to people and this worker has performed at or below 50% of the normal of the team. the statement alone gets me pissed off, since when has america been somewhere where you can slack off and get away with it ?
