Blue Lapdog Democrat Reps. Bart Gordon (Tenn.), Baron Hill (Ind.), Mike Ross (Ark.), and Zack Space (Ohio) voted “yes” in favor of passing the health care government takeover bill out of committee. Remember those names. They voted the bill out of committee with no guarantees whatsoever that any of the so-called cuts in taxes or spending would be included in the final bill. Their objections and so-called compromise were all show with no substance. Reps. John Barrow (Ga.), Jim Matheson (Utah), and Charlie Melancon (La.) -- all Blue Dog Democrats -- voted against the bill along with non-Blue Dog Democrats Rick Boucher (Va.) and Bart Stupak (Mich.).
