I am envious of you and wish I could have started this thread and run it. I would have wanted to have various people studying it and piecing together ideas about it.

It seems like everyone is having a good time without me. This sucks.

However, I am also envious of all the other threads too. I am envious that you have superpowers and can do stuff to reality.

I wish I had superpowers and could do stuff to reality too. Only, I cannot comply with any bargain about it, nor follow you somehow.

This is written for the sake of dissolving a field of protection that is disappearing now. Envy doesn't last long after being honest. As it turns out, I'm not that envious and it isn't clear what is there to be envious about.

On GLP there is a running joke about spelling the word moron as "moran". Presumably the comedy is in the irony of accusing someone of stupidity while misspelling the word. It takes me back.

When I was 12 I had a teacher who's family name is Moran. I thought I was clever back then. I had names to make fun of all my teachers. I called her Ms Moron because I hated school.

I remember her in particular because her effect on my life was profound. I've told this story many times. I won't go over the details. In short, she taught me the wisdom of not allowing a cycle of abuse to continue.

She said, you can continue the cycle or you can end it. In her life, she chose to end it. I didn't know how much this wisdom would accompany me in life later on, but I remember very little of what I learned in school. This lesson has remained.

Slowly, the wisdom revealed itself in my life as I overcame one cycle after another.

I found GLP through this thread. I read only this thread for a while, only sometimes going to the companion threads for context. Eventually I did go see what else is on this site.

I did make threads for sharing notes and forgot I did. On this site, there isn't any consistent practice of restricting commentary on threads.

Pretty much anything goes. Some wish to support the site and gain the ability to delete posts, It doesn't work on anonymous threads.

These themes go over various areas of thinking. This thread was likely written for GLP users.

Ever get invited to a party where you know none of them and they all talk about things you've never found stimulating?

I sigh sometimes. I'd have no internet around but something more important requires it. So now I visit a few pages and sift through mud, not looking for anything in particular. I'm just seeing what is there.

People in the flesh are also plain. Might as well help all of them. None of them are me. They are some people. There's plenty similarity. Everyone is relatable and we understand each other.

Assuming over others can never end well for the assumer, as seen time and time again. Disappointment. Lack of change. Ouroboros. The only way to escape the cycle is saving yourself. Who else needs it?
