Spirit Wolves

While falling into the arms of the sky
You can hear the rivers at sundown
running free and long

you can hear wolves whispering at dawn
calling to the spirits of the moon

Songs of the wolves beckoning the midnight sun
gathering like a maze of shadows
strange as it seems, they seize the night
with howls that echo unknown mysteries

Driven by lost trails after dark
in an artificial reality
they are spirit hunters, keepers of memories
driven by the depths of darkness
they are no stranger to the woods

Their eyes peer at the falling red stars
they begin to drink from the black waters
the willows dance from the mist falling
A spell of mental images of warriors in waiting

On the edge forever; following the depths of their beliefs
just time travelers with a free spirit
living in the night dreamers realm

Always a Wolf...

Bloodstained paws beat the earthen path,
Surviving relics of the human wrath.
Ancient songs hit the night,
Grieving the loss of yet another fight.

The olden peace man forgot,
Hasn't yet been left to rot.
For in the soul of every wolf,
The memories shall not loaf.

Back before the words were learned,
The wolves had respect well earned.
They never took more then they should,
And helped whatever they could.

Man took it all,
And let them fall.
They destroyed the land,
And moved the sand.

The wolf watched from his den,
Trying to avoid the thieving men.
With all his heart and soul he knew,
That his greatest fear was true.

His world would die.
And however he'd try,
This he couldn't save,
No matter how much he gave.

Slowly- his species began to expire,
And the wolves had a single desire-
To survive 'till the end,
So they could give what there was to lend.

And as the moon rises above,
You can feel their ancient love.
They shall save our days,
And they shall work without our praise.

They are the wolf,
And they are here...

Wolf Love

Alone, high up on a mountaintop
A wolf sings of her despair
To the moon above, of a forlorn love
Her tale echoes on the cold night air

With naught but the wind as a friend
To join in her sad lonely cry
Lost and alone, and searching for home
The wolf and the moon in the sky

As the echoing notes die away
There comes an answering plea
To the sound turns her ear, she hears it so clear
"I'm coming, so please wait for me"

So she waits for the one who responded
And then she saw him appear
A wolf just as she, and longing to be
The one to ease all of her fear

He lifted his voice with a question
His song sweet as the croon of a dove
When she looked in his eyes, to her surprise
All she could see was his love

And so she answered his query
With her heart, her soul and her mind
Together give voice, to hope and rejoice
The wolves who are two of one kind

A Lone Wolf

He waits alone, amidst the cold and snow,
Waiting patiently for that familiar sound.
Where have they gone to..he does not know,
Missing the love, he once had found.


He heard a voice, that of a man,
Then a loud noise, and a yelping cry.
The human spoke of a sickening plan,
Of killing- but for what, the wolf knows not why.

Where have his pups gone, his precious mate.
The Alpha, Omega and Beta, all gone still.
He lets out a mournful howl, realizing their fates,
As the winter air compounds the night's chill.

He hangs his head low, his eyes filled with tears,
He is alone, his howls unanswered in the night sky.
His heart filled with grief, his mind filled with fears,
He can't understand why his packmates had to die.

Now- a lone wolf, he wanders the forest alone,
His head to the ground, he picks up a familiar scent.
His heart quickens, at the sound of a moan,
There he finds her- the one for which he is meant.

His mate, hurt and frightened, lifts her head to the sky,
The wolf's heart breaking as he notices her wounds.
Raising her head, her gaze meets his eyes,
The pain in her eyes, reflected by the light of the moon.

Desperate to help, but not knowing what he can do,
He lays down beside her, and gives her a loving nuzzle.
As she lay helpless, he sighs heavily- as he knows the truth,
His mate's body becomes still, as he gently licks her muzzle.

But, it is too late, she is already gone,
And now, he truly is a lone wolf-- a wolf all alone.

"Wolves are taking all of our women!"

So theres a wolf hunt going on right now, so all the wolves came down out of the hills. Every barbwire gate just about every where is closed tight and I haven't seen a cow in months. Alot of people drove a realy long ways just to fuck with eachother and me. WTF

one rails in youth while elders accept the fight the burden light and dark...so i will travel as i might head high and low in pain and joy yet always moving left to right and back combined into onto an aimless path.

i am the wolf alone and distant looking always towards the fire...i am a traveler of the dark side guarded by my light i am i am...i am a lonely true by choice outside the walls of norm...i am a walker silent stepping into an around whats known...i am one of few who did not ask to walk this way but stand quietly without a thought to why...i am i am i am.

i am a watcher of you all but silent looking looking out all windows at the acts the stance the poise and postures of all fellows not my fellows no youre not i am i am...distant and apart.

Soul Mates Forever...

In a wolf pack they ran together
blessed by The Great Spirit,
their souls locked and mated forever
Loyal hearts that none could sever.

None bothered and no trouble to see
as they ran wild on the wind free ...
Soul mates together for many a year,
their loyal hearts knew no fear.

How could their brave spirits know
one day an enemy would show ...
without heart or even much skill,
and her soul mate, man would kill.

It was by the bright of day ..
as their brave hearts tried to run away ...
Running fast,but their bodies tired
her mate was killed with one shot fired.

With only her around
his lifeless body lay on the ground ...
only his soft fur moved as a lone wind blew
by heart and instinct she knew ...

But she could not linger nor stay
for her own life, she must run away!
So with a pause and one look back
she ran on the wind and rejoined the pack.

Now she stands alone each night
and howls up to the moon's misty light ...
the soulful sound of her cries
lingers on the wind, then dies.

Pain cuts through her soul like a knife
for the mate she had taken for life.
Her spirit is broken ... but she'll survive ...
The Great Spirit will keep her alive.

She still runs with the pack
but forever and always looks back
for a second she pauses ... and waits
always searching for her lost soul mate.

Wolf Guardian

From the stars he came
To join the souls on earth
Who struggle and grow and live life for all it’s worth
Yet sometimes feeling lost alone and lame

He came, fallen from the heavens as all the rest
The light kept him moving and courage made him strong
Touching those along the way, making them feel blessed
With in the heart and soul, keeping them close and filling them with lovely song

Many ages did he pass on that fragile loop of life
Proclaiming what sky and spirit foretell, all victories taken in their strife
At last, earning his passage back amongst the stars
Ending his quest of walking truth onto this world of ours

The celestial pack hears him howl and sing
As the stars shine bright above, they know it’s joy he brings
With a laugh and a tear he does what it takes
To fulfill the intent of the hearts he creates
