China, Japan, South Korea, etc have trillions of US dollars. China is spending as many of its US dollars as they can buying up mines, oil wells, and minerals, especially in Africa, and even in Afghanistan.

Various secret meetings might be being held to start trading oil in a basket of currencies such as the Japanese Yen, Chinese Yuan, Euro, and others, instead of in US dollars. Finance ministers from these countries deny that this is happening and say they haven't even heard of it.

The signs are there that the US dollar might be going to collapse dramatically pretty soon, once the major owners of US dollars have got as much value out of it as they can.

For the people of the USA it would mean that imports would become much more expensive. Now might be a good time to buy an imported bicycle, before you can't afford gasoline any more.

This is definitely not good. What was the trigger that forced whomever to intervene? Was it a warning? Was it a large currency swap? WHAT?

Their currencies don't skyrocket in value. Do you really think that everybody in Asia is going to become rich overnight? Possibly you do not really understand currency or wealth.

I would think this could not go unanswered as in millitary force. Yea this could leed to a war of some type.

It just seems like we are being fed information. Led down a path to a paticular way of thinking.

The war started some time ago. Remember when the US banks committed the Global Financial Fraud? The USA stole trillions of dollars from people all over the planet. The Asian countries are now propping up the dollar to minimize the effects of the financial attack by the US banks.

But they don't have to prop it up forever, once they've made the best of their bad situation, they can kick out the chair and let the USA hang.

Actually IMO this is good news for the reasons that if our currency plummets then the world will be hurt and they know it. Why do you think they ammended the story about China Russia Japan and Arab countries conspiring to eradicate or replace dollar in oil deals. Another positive is that Asian banks are helping to keep currency stable to peg it cheaper than the dollar so they can export almost everything to the US.

If their currency gets too strong then the cheap goods we ship 5000 miles to our market is unattractive and there will be a demand to make these products here. Which will create jobs, taxes, durable goods purchased,etc etc..

For years the Chinese have pegged their currency (artificially) to the dollar (drawing harsh criticism for years) but it gives them an economic advantage and is a main factor in their manufacturing growth. If the yuan was measured on its merits we would buy less Chinese goods.

I believe we have been at economic war since the US inception and recently China has done the most damage but now that they are holding 500 billion in US debt and the world market is shaky thet have a lot at stake. If the dollar dips 10%=50 billion dollar loss for them. If they dump our debt and the dollar plummets where are they going to sell all the crap they make.

Sorry I do love doom but this is an indicator of a silver lining IMO

Same thinking. Currently they are sitting on a enormous amount of worthless paper. They cannot sell it over night, so that's why from time to time some Trillions are popping up at the Italian-Swiss border.

China started to stock up commodities whatsoever. Clever move. Now, all are hopping onto Gold which is rising. Silver will be the next. I believe Central Banks are filling up their vaults with whatsoever is available. AUD, CHF, EUR, YEN, GBP, and even small currencies like SEK, NOK, Ruble, Braz.Peso, Commodities.
And their FEMA camps are stocking-up Shelters, food, water, med.supply, all buying from US in USD, giving away the last cents they have.
First comes first serves. The running on alternatives have begun.
