I'm not doing a goddamn thing with it, you know. Firefox, with 3 tabs open, is the only window I have open. And the computer is just sitting there constantly loading, making that loudass fucking loading noise that they all make. And it says there are no processes working it, it is using 2% of the CPU. What the unholy fuck is it doing? I hate that noise. God I hate that noise. And it just doesn't stop. Gosh, what you got OP a 1993 Packard Bell as I have not heard my computer in years. Time to upgrade to a SSD and lots of ram. For now, erase the HD, reload everything and start over. Windows has made it difficult to live without a solid state hard drive. Their constant updates... and probably data farming keeps your regular hard drive moving all the time... especially on start up, may take 10 minutes to finally stop thrashing around. If you can live with a Mac, you'll find some relief. But if you need Windows, and SSD is almost required now.
