Just bought this air sanitizer stuff called "OZIUM," but I'm worried about the safety label...

On the back of the can it says, "Spray for one second toward center of room away from drapes, walls, plastic, vinyl, painted or varnished surfaces, etc."

Well, you would think that if you are spraying it in a room, it would have walls!
There are many other warnings on the back that are not typical of this type of spray product. It's also highly flammable.

This is supposed to be an air sanitizer that is supposed to "reduce airborne bacteria."
If anyone on GLP knows whether or not this is safe to use, please post here....I am curious.

Oh people.

At least Ozium has the respect to put a warning label.

Go find one on a febreeze bottle - or any other type of product.

They're much worse for you than Ozium - with no warning label.

Re: Just bought this air sanitizer stuff called "OZIUM," but I'm worried about the safety label...
Becareful if that's the kind that says something like one squirt handles a huge area like 300 sq.feet

I was in the hospital some years back for a week laid up, had a black female roommate in the hospital room.

She took out a can of that stuff and sprayed it all over the place, not just one squirt. She told me she uses it all the time and loves the stuff.

She said she was in the hospital because she had some kind of nerve brain damage and her 8 month old son was in the kids ward with the same thing.

Doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong.

She sprayed so much I had to leave the room. Later I went to the nurse station and told them I think they need to have her doctor check the aerosal can she had with her.

He did the next morning, she got kicked out pretty fast since she admitted using it heavily at home and even in the kids room.
The can had some real strong health warnings on it.
Labeled as industrial strength. She only had a 1 bedroom small apartment.

Poisoned herself and her kid.

Yes, I have it and use it. Just don't breathe it in and leave the room when you spray it. When you use it, spray it in the center of the room, then leave for a little while. It's very strong stuff. I think the warnings are just to cover their ass and they're referring to people who would spray the stuff directly to walls, drapes, etc.

Have a look on amazon for a plug in small ozone machine, it cleans the air a different way, I have them all over my house in England and they remove even the toughest of smells.

This one is dead good and not expensive, you can use it with a timer and it just does its thing.

I am really pleased with ours xx

What's in it?

I don't even like using essential oils cause I don't want an oil film on everything.
