And you want to give that reasoning to all the women stating they miscarried right after the shot?

Better yet, perhaps their doctor will allow them to read the package insert of the H1N1 vaccine while they are there, now that's a novel idea.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 799909

Hell yes I would tell them that reasoning vs. them wrongly thinking that something they did caused the miscarriage.

Plus if all of a sudden 3 in 10 or higher pregnant woman started to miscarry after taking the vaccine the doctor recommending the treatment would notice. You are saying that either all these doctors are incompetent or they are all evil.

Re: Swine flu vaccines cause miscarriages--proof
Here are the swine flu facts:

In the US:

22 Million have been infected
98,000 have had a severe enough infection to be hospitalized
4000 have died.

SO, if you get the swine flu you only have a .02% chance of dieing.

However, if you are bad off enough to go to the hospital at that point you have a 4% chance of dieing.

However for pregnant woman:

1% of the population is pregnant at anyone time, of the 4000 that have died 6% were pregnant. So if you are pregnant and have swine flu and go to the hospital you are 6 times more likely to die or have somewhere around a 1 in 4 chance of dieing.

Well...how about that....
I'm living in the Netherlands EU, with my wife (5 months underway) and my 1,5 year old son.
Just got the letter in the mail...
Vacs to all to be done in 2 weeks.
What do you guys reckon ?
Deal with the flu ?
or deal with the vaccine ?
.
For sure, my wife and I do not know anymore...
.
Perhaps I've been reading the net too much...
With every second click on a site, I die...
.
This is getting way too close...
I thought I had people protecting me from this shit,
People I voted for, running my country, on my behalf, payed by me.

Guess not.
Damn.

Please, please, for the sake of your unborn baby, as well as your wife and yourself, do NOT let your wife take ANY vaccine while pregnant. Make sure she eats well, takes vitamins, and gets lots and lots of sleep and rest. If I were pregnant, I'd choose the risk of the flu.

A coworker was telling me last night that her cousin was pregnant, got the swine flu shot, and miscarried a few days later. The doctors told her that it was not the shot, it was a problem with the baby, that it had a genetic defect.

Pregnant women that don't get the shot and then get H1N1 run the risk of dying.

So which is worse? I'd say not getting the shot and then ending up dead.

There is proof that getting the shot helps pregnant women? Link?

I think it would be worse to get the shot and wind up dead. Because you did it yourself.

Well, my entire family has gotten the shot and we're doing fine. Lots of people in our town haven't gotten it and have gotten H1N1, many ending up in the hospital for over a week. No deaths yet thank goodness but you better believe there's gonna be some big hospital bills coming to some folks that can't afford it right around x-mas time.

If grown-ups are too stupid to get the vaccine then I can only feel so much sympathy for them when they contract this flu. It's their poor kids that I feel bad for. There's been 3 second graders already, one is still in the hospital.

Again I don't think you could tell if the vaccine caused the miscarriage. The rates of miscarriage in general is high, Over all it rounds to about a 31% chance for woman in general, higher over a certain age and lower below a certain age.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 225593

After the baby develops a heartbeat it drops significantly. After the first trimester, it is less even lower. No where near the 31% you are quoting. Stop spreading your mis-information. Two posts in the first ten saying it's okay.....

The Swine Flu vaccine will absolutely sterilize. See "Children of Men" for more info. Notice the 'flying pig' balloon in the sky above the city.

Miscarriages are just another bonus to this abominable agenda.

Ok so I did some quick research,

[link to babymed.com]

The percentage chance of miscarriage after 12 weeks drops below 10%.

So that means 1 in 10 woman miscarry before those 12 weeks. So how many of those woman took the vaccine and then blamed their miscarriage on it?

Its like saying, how many of the woman who had miscarriages used a cell phone prior? Did the cell phone use cause the miscarriage?

I am not saying that there is no way that the vaccine could be contributing to the miscarriages just that there is no PROOF as the poster says, just anecdotal evidence.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 225593

Perhaps a more accurate measurement would be to --
1. Count all miscarriages in pregnant women within the age grouping receiving vaccines but not having been vaccinated;
2. Count the miscarriages in pregnant women who have received the vaccines.
3. See whatever that information shows.

If you want to hang your case on percentages and statistics, then your data had better be accurate and relevant. Otherwise you are just blowing smoke up our skirts while women are losing their babies.

It could be that it is causing the miscarriages but I would think that its most likely just a coincidence. I mean how many pregnant woman have taken the vaccine and had nothing bad happen. 100, 1000, 10000, 100000?

I wonder at what percentage you could tell it was not a coincidence.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 225593

are you F-in kidding me? ---COINSIDENCE?.....if woman are losing healthy babies after recieving the vaccine -the numbers don't mean shit!

Re: Swine flu vaccines cause miscarriages--proof
People ... please understand the facts ...

1) My wife has had several miscarriages .... I feel for these women ... However, the fact is the death of the child happens days if not a week or two before the woman actually knows she has miscarried. It takes that long for the hormones to change and the blood to be released.

This is from medical experience as we went in for ultrasounds a few times knowing we were pregnant only to find out that the fetus wasn't alive and was a week or two smaller than we calculated as the baby had died a week before. The actual miscarriage wasn't until a few days later.

So the shot is just a happenstance just like if the women went to workout and then started to have the physical signs of a miscarriage. The actual event that triggered it happened a week before - and we will never really know what caused it.

We actually thought that having sex causes it ... so I guess everyone should stay home in bed with their husband banished to the couch because anything can cause it.

2) 20% of all pregnancies are thought to end in miscarriages ... we just don't know of many of them because they are a part of the regular cycle - only live a few days.

The only way to really know if the shot effects miscarriages is to track a large # of patients and compare it to those of a year ago before the shot. This is what the CDC is doing.

i am pregnant. I am NOT getting the SHOT.. no way no how.. 25 mcg of thimerosal for a baby anyone? 50 if you do both shots. No thank you.

I have already dealt with the flu here. All i needed was TONS (talk about 10-20 billion cultures 4 times a day) a teaspoon of elderberry 4 times a day and oscillo. Knocked the sucker out of the park.

Guess I beat those 1 in 4 odds of me DYING eh?
