Romans 10:5-13

As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."

For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Everyone has those.

Even Christ was tempted, but resisted & prevailed... we're to do the same.

When we fail, we Repent (stop doing whatever it was), & ask His Forgiveness.

I noticed you mentioned Gladewater. Do you live in that area? I grew up there and moved to Longview when I was 12, went to Kilgore College there. My grandparents lived in Gladewater all their lives.

I now live outside Houston. There is this couple in my Sunday school class that were members of that church in Gladewater that you speak about years ago. Small world, eh....God is Good All the Time and All the Time God is Good ~~

Raised in Dallas, but I'm on Family land in East Texas (Between Greenville & Commerce) now.

We've got 600 acres here & although it's a definite paradigm shift from D, it's quiet, secure, & well-suited for whatever may come.

I ran a Data/Telecom office in Garland for a company based in Austin.

Had to make that drive a couple of times a week.

Amen! Amazing post my friend... As far as personally having something this dramatic happen,no. But over the last 3 yrs God has blessed my family in ways that are unbelievable.

I became seriously ill in 2006 and was unable to work any longer,my wife had been a stay at home mom for over 20 yrs and did not work. From the begining I got on my knees and asked our Lord for help and the response has been overwhelming. Of course our lifestyle has changed with major cutbacks,but we are still in our home and making our bills!

Due to some investments that were made back in 2000 we have a monthly income that will last us until 2011 when our youngest son will grad. High school. Our oldest son(19) received a full academic scholarship in 2007 that pays for everything. I was also blessed to have our insurance completely PAID for with no out of pocket money form us(Not a govt. handout)this has saved my life as I have needed a couple of expensive operation over the last 2 yrs.

Now my wife works a great little job close by that lets her study all day,she is back in school full time with a goal of getting her accounting degree.


I received great news just this last Monday from my doctor that they think they can "fix" me and take these tubes out of my kidneys,its a major operation that they are planing in December. It will require me to be in the hospital 2 weeks(I will be asking for pryaer from you guys) but if this works it will be amazing!

Healing happens EVERY DAY, if we'll just receive it, & believe He'll do it.

In the past 3 or 4 months at our Church, we've had one guy who had a horse flip over onto him... broke all of his ribs, cracked his skull, & produced massive brain swelling.

He was in a coma for 8 days.

The Dr's said there was little hope for him to ever be 'normal' again, & that he probably wouldn't be able to walk (because of some type of damage in his brain) & was going to be severely reduced in brain/other function.

We all prayed for this man, & after the 8 days he came out of the coma.

He was back at Church within another 3.

He's completely healed, today.

We had another guy who had a serious heart issue that, for whatever reason, was (according to the Dr's) going to be Terminal.

They scheduled surgery for him, but gave him & his Family little hope for his survival.

Again, everyone gathered & prayed, & he came through perfectly.

Awesome my friend...as I said I will be making a prayer request here before I go in for surgery,but since your here now I would ask that you & your church lift me up in prayer!

My mother has a hematoma as a result of recent surgery. I'd surely appreciate prayer for her healing.

scrump;i was at that meating at gladewater park in 93,you look diffent but i'm sure i met you.i'm still in touch with bro.ben,i have ben visiting ben 3 or 4 times a year sence then. i live in se.louisiana.he is a true watchman,and puts out a mailing called 70th. week ministries.i wasn't there when the kid got eaten by ants, so mabe it was not the meating i was at.
