No, I mean he's like Ron Paul. He says thing that need to be said, neither person is stable or deep.

At least they don't come across that way to me.

There are ten thousand people who could be better, but they would never go through the candidacy process, whereas if you have an INTERNET party that does not function through the media circus, where your candidate is selected quietly...

The candidate is then on the ballot. Sneaky, huh???

Someone on the ballot that didn't get there by coronation, but by popular appeal and substantive plans.

It's a matter of setting up the party and attracting candidates.

Maybe the first hundred people or so get to kind of narrow the field a little, to choose credible people to be candidates, but there could be 200 or 500 candidates.

You could have a ten day voting process. Each day narrows the field by ten percent, till you're down to five or ten candidates, then you have a run-off type election.

The party gets to make the rules, as far as I know, as to how they select their candidate.

You make the party "big tent" by not having a platform. It's just candidates saying who they are, what they would do, and why.

the best people for the job are the ones nobody knows of or has heard of. we are a celebrity culture and until that changes, the bigger celebrity will win... especially as the younger MTV->WOW kids start voting.
It's dangerous when all you know about someone is from their TV or internet image

That's what has to change. The media makes the celebrity, it's 90% fabrication.

If someone comes into the race out of nowhere, suddenly, like, that NO ONE knows or has heard of, and that person owes nothing to any party platform or moneybags, that person could change the dynamic.

My thought about Romney was, when he spent oogles in New Hampshire for months leading up to the primary, was that all it would have taken was for him to be there on equal footing in the debates and stuff and he would have won.

But the fag losers like Huckabee cheap shotted Romney for big spending, tore down his actual PERSON, who he is.

I don't like Romney THAT much, but he was BY FAR the only decent person running in either party.

If there is no big corporate money and no baggage bullshit behind a candidate, they could win on a third party ticket.

Perot could have won. And the politicians today are SUCH a farce and people are SO sick of them...

 Quoting: Discs

Thanks, but the sanity goes to you. I really believe that a person like him could do a lot of good. The problem is, in order to become President, you have to be a snake first and foremost. Remember, 99.99999% of all politicians are con artists that are chosen by con artists. Kind of like being a mobster. In order for you to have any real power, you have to get "made". That is of course that you don't believe that we have a "legitimate" electorial system. I for one, do not. I think that those in power are brought there by those in power themselves. And with that said, I don't think that the so called "establishment" is going to compromise their position of power. It's really kind of like the analogy of the fox guarding the chicken koop. But none the less, I do agree with you in regards to Jesse. He would definitely clean up the mess.
