not saying the following is right or wrong, just the way i had it explained to me by someone who claimed to know, (but was probably full of sh!t).

man is the term used to reference the human race, encompassing both male and female. Male were refered to as weremen, females refered to as women. As the meme of submissiveness began to catch on the "were" was dropped and the term man came to refer to males only as the submission of women rendered them as something less than human in that meme. This bore out in some cultures were woman couldn't hold certain places of authority, couldn't vote, etc.

I don't accept this as being completely true but it is concievable that it is true.

i'm not sure what you are saying. could you rephrase the question.

seems to me that society tends to place a lot of emphasis on genders being so different that people act accordingly. some women rebel against the label, but go towards the extremes of masculinity to compensate. there are many labels given to women and, since women are just as human as men, some learn to 'hate' what is deemed feminine within in retaliation. psychology plays a tremendous role. bigger than actual hormones and physiology.

distorting language... the word, sound, vibration... is a particularly effective use of left-handed occultism. it's interesting to discover just what makes it into our lexicon and what doesn't and who the 'deciders' are.
