Islamic banking in US, your thoughts?

Islamic banks are a growing business within the UK and now they’re in US.

Now with the economic crisis, do you guys think that alot of people may change banks to the Islamic banks as they are different and they seem like a better option? I keep hearing about how banking bosses from other banks and their employees are earning huge bonuses during the recession and while hardworking taxpayers are struggling to pay their bills and consumers aren’t happy.

I’m getting the feeling that, there might be a more sinister reason for introducing the Islamic banks in the UK and US as the illuminati and other elite groups are scheming to achieve the nwo agenda. Islamic banking is looking more attractive to consumers such as non-muslims during this time.

Now I don’t think Islamic banks are owned by muslims, but possibly the illuminati.

Islamic banks are different from other banks as they are shariah compliant (compliant with islamic law), meaning they have an ethical stance. So basically none of its funds can be used for activities associated with tobacco, alcohol or pornography, for example.

There a growing no. of non-muslims in the UK who open an account with them (for an example, see this article: [link to www.thisismoney.co.uk] )

Also they don’t charge interest as it is forbidden in Islam. The way the bank makes money is when for example a customer has a Sharia or Halal savings accounts, they work by putting investors' money into 'real' commercial transactions such as buying a stake in a company, then sharing rewards with account holders.

In the UK, Islamic home finance plans follow the principle of 'diminishing Musharaka' - which means the bank buys a house on your behalf. You then pay rent to the bank each month, plus an extra payment to buy a small share in the property. Gradually, the entire home becomes yours. They have attractive offers.

Also I read that the Islamic bank in the UK has higher returns compared to some competitors.
