This isn't a reference to aliens or UFO's.
The Sons of God is a reference to men on the earth with natural godliness in them. Godly qualities. Chastity, sobriety, serious mindedness. Not greedy, materialistic.
They began to take daughters for themselves who were not godly. The daughters of men who were not natural members of the bloodlines of the House of Israel.
They were polluting the bloodlines of the House of Israel by doing so.
