They told my mom I was retarded. She got mad at them. Later on we left CA and moved to a red state where I started 3rd grade and all my teachers said I was gifted. I definitely never felt like I fit in and my friends teased me for being too smart.

What did you do in the program though?

I could have written this almost word for word. Finished my work early, stared out the window daydreaming, teachers didn’t understand and thought I had problems. Later on, I still read and comprehended everything too fast so I was the only kid (I’m female btw) who got to go lay on the beanbags while everyone else spent the rest of the class trying to finish.
I am a CA native, did head start there, and k-2nd grade. That’s all have to contribute.

I’m not sure I was in the program or not. I was raised by a single mom and she never told me anything about my childhood. It’s all fuzzy and I’ve been trying to put together some pieces as she has been long gone.

Have you had any trauma in your life? You should have many memories of your 1st through 5th grade schooling, especially in the regular classes outside of the program.

I spent weeks building a really intricate Rube Goldberg machine that took up half the width of the lab room. I remember asking my unknown 'teachers' whether they could guarantee the janitors wouldn't touch and compromise it at night.

I remember now there was one link in my build that wasn't always successful, really bothered me as it was near middle of the chain and school season had ended with no time left to fix it.

I also remember feeling embarrassed at the low quality and simplicity of my other classmates' builds.

In my elementary class our teacher had us lay on mats and do breathing controls which seemed pretty normal to me until she started in about teaching us how to create an out of body experience.
Told us to exhale through our nose and imagine the life force leaving the body. At the end she had us imagine our life force was inhaled back deeply.

I didn't even know about OOB stuff in elementary.

I also had to be tested by a psychologist in jr High because I was learning so fast that my spare time was spent being a very good class comic.
The psychologist put me through 2weeks of tests and eventually told me my IQ was 145.
As a girl, I picked the chess club as an extra class.

When I finally decided to chase boys I purposely acted dumb because too many didn't think a girl could be smarter than them.

You're lucky you got mats, the head on desk thing was so far from ergonomic for astral training.

Most of us learned or were taught by high school that political elections were irrelevant right? Just another tool to distract and appease the general public.

Most difficult part of reading GLP besides the trained racism and sexism is the rooting or disparaging of any political puppet as if any of them actually make policy decisions.

Sometimes I wish Program alumni could have our own GLP forum for discussion. Wishful thinking since there's probably no way around the AI bots from participating and poisoning the well.

No but I was given multiple career assessments in school about future career paths and mine always showed government / secret service as career choice to pursue and a few months later in high school a secret service agent actually came to my class and actually spoke to me by name after presentation and asked if I was interested in that career path.

He was part of the Clinton / Gore Secret Service detail.

So did you take the job?

I was in the GATE program as well but in Germany during the 80s. I remember reading to other students at four years old. But I don’t remember much else about my time there. I am still able to speed read, it takes me at most a day to read a book no matter the number of pages.

How can we get together and try to remember what we were taught to forget? I feel such a strong pole that is taking me away from everything else in my life. It is not an option for me to not for fill whatever it is that I am supposed to do that we are supposed to do. I do not think it is a coincidence that we are all finding each other at this time. It’s time to remember.

I have become completely engulfed in finding out everything and anything I can about this. So many things I read on here seem to activate and bring back more images that I have always been aware of but never really took hold of or tried to make sense of. They were always just there, kind of like a mole; you know it’s there, but never asked when it appeared. I have always just known things and been extremely intuitive. At times I have questioned if I have really good hearing, or if I was hearing people’s thoughts. (Sometimes I respond before anything has been said, but I “heard” it; and in their voice). I remember the testing and the computers. I know that I knew how to read before I knew the alphabet. I remember cabins in the woods, fires, wild boars, and either kangaroos or jack rabbits. It may not have been either, but what I remember looked long and had long ears. Someone was holding it by the ears and the feet were touching the ground. I spoke fluent German when I lived in Germany, but nothing once I returned to the states. Also, I remember my plane making a crash emergency landing in London because the engine caught on fire. I only remember intense ear and head pain from that trip. I could go on, but I haven’t fully connected everything. I also remember seeing technology that still doesn’t exist today. I am not able to be “read” by most people who are able to connect with others on that level. Also, and I am not sure if this is connected or important; my mother always told me I was born with a veil over my face.
One final point, I have search for anyone who can relate or explain this to me, I (for almost a year now) see a spiderweb type of golden shimmering “netting/connection points” in the sky at night. And the connections light up in different areas at different times, but none of it is ever bright. If anyone has had a similar experience please let me know.

Same. I always end up being pressured (attempts are made) into leadership roles that I don’t want due to my knowledge about whatever the topic/task may be.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I am posting because I need answers. I also know that I have a purpose and that purpose will not be halted by reaching out for the others. Our purpose is too great.
