No it's not. Such a method would be easily detected via port analyzers and even a simple software firewall. There are however tools with which you can spy on people but you'd need to install it. In one case a student installed such a tool on a fellow female student. But her laptop got slowed down and had an increase in the data that was being sent. She was suspicious and investigated her laptop, that's how the guy was caught. But yes, there are people who download and install these tools to spy on others - some pedophiles had used it and blackmailed children with the recorded images. |
