I will it;s more interesting then watching a propaganda filled documentary or watching a movie.

Just stating a fact. I actually don't care much about conspiracy theories tbh. I just visit here on occasion to see what the crazies are up to. When I want to talk about sports I visit a sports site.

Also I enjoy playing and watching sports so I have nothing against sports or talking about em.

I skated for years.. I wish I could get back on.. not as limber as I once was.

Hey sometimes I get out of line about the ball sports. I played college level football, and baseball. I love sports.

But sadly today it is nothing but thug/money ball.

This ain't your daddy's ball game. I have better things to do.

Here's my take...

Ok I like my team...they are my team cause they are from my home town....do I know ever player?...nope....I know some of their stats, some players, more or less...some of their highlights. I watch them when I can, not all year long like an obsessed stalker...if that's your hobby?...fine, but it isn't mine.

If my team is going strong and the season is coming down to who is going to the playoffs and championships etc etc?....I pay more attention if my team is there. When the big finals come for my teams league?...if my team isn't in the running...I still watch and root for whichever other team I like the best...or against a team I dislike the most.

It doesn't take a whole lot of time and sporting matches are a nice diversion and they are fun for me...get together with family and friends and watch a big show, have cool game day foods and have some competition fun...all in good fun.

If there is any downside to any of these of sporting matches it's the things like DUI or getting in brawls in bars which I no longer participate in.

Nothing wrong...and in fact it's a good thing IMO, to get together with family and friends for some event and have a nice time partying and having some sort of rivalry event to watch and enjoy.

For everyone that has to trash that as some sort of waste of time?....Well what exactly is wrong with getting together with family and friends for a high energy and once in while big fun time?

Not a fuckin thing IMO...Get out and crack a smile once in a blue moon!...it'll do us all good....

It's fine to have a sports thread, but when there are 30 of them about the same game taking up the first page it gets irritating.

Maybe there is a sports forum out there somewhere for that?

but you have to admit i participated the only way i could.

i might not have made a very inteligent thread about football but since i don't know anything about it i tried to participate in the football fever with humor instead.

As per Leviticus, I believe that is punishable by stoning.
