Search Engine- Best Deals Guns/Ammo
I just stumbled across this, so I am new to it, but I have been checking around and comparing it to other places I frequent and it seems to have the best deals in the country.
Play with it and see what you think.

Ammo prices have come down a great deal. Some people are still trying to screw people so shop around. Happy shooting.

Did you see the joke of the day on that site?

LMAO

THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T MESS WITH OLD PEOPLE

The Parking Ticket
Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.
Well, for example,
the other day my wife and I went into town and went into a shop.
We were only in there for about 5 minutes.
When we came out, there was a cop writing out
a parking ticket.
We went up to him and said, 'Come on man, how about giving
a senior citizen a break?'
He ignored us and continued writing the ticket.
I called him a Nazi turd. He glared at me and started
writing another ticket for having worn tires.
So my wife called him a poop-head. He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

Personally, we didn't care. We came into town by bus and the car had an Obama sticker.
We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired.

I have noticed on gunbroker.com that the bidding activity has dropped a bunch from last summer, almost none compared to what it used to be

About time for the industry to start a rumor!

Here's a link for some reasonable 12ga. LE buckshot. I don't like to order from Texas state because I have to pay taxes in state....if anyone knows about these LE loads for cheap in another state, please paste a link!

Here's a hell of a deal on some plinker bullets...99% chance it wont trace anyway. Probably not legal in Fl and some other states though.

$0.03 for powder? Better recalculate, I think you're even cheaper. Powder hasn't gone up that much, I think.

My very good friend is still working off primers that were ~$18/1000 and Bullseye that was $80/8#. Primers are from the mid/late-90s Clinton scare - stored properly. He remembers when you could go into the local sporting goods store and buy a tray of 100 retail for $1.29. That's not in case lots of 5000 or on sale... ahh, the good old days.

45ACP
Primer - 1.8 cents
Powder - 0.6 cents
Lube/Flux/other - 0.5 cents(?)
Hand cast bullet - free

Total - 2.9 cents = $1.45 per box of 50, or less.

He's a little worried when his lead/ww run out since, as you know, they aren't giving it away anymore. Still has a few 100#s but in a few years things could get dicey.

Have fun.

I was using the current prices at my local gun shop.
A pound of Unique goes for $30, and I get a hair over 1000 rounds out of a pound. Primers are going for $29.99 per 1k.

My actual cost is less, because I bought a few 8 lb jugs when it was more like $18-19 per pound.

Bullseye would be even cheaper, but I only use that for very light loads.

'Buy the 8# jug Luke. Buy the 8# jug.'

I think 8# Unique/Bullseye can be had for ~$100 online with $25 Hazmat. $125 for 8# delivered.

Primers and lead are the problem. If primers go down to ~$25/1000 he may buy a few 10000. As it is in a few years his primers and lead will be gone an he'll have to pay the going rate.

Buying cast bullets or scrap lead will give him a heart attack. May have to take the boys at the auto repair a couple cases of beer and see what they can squirrel away.

Have fun.

R.
