I was using the current prices at my local gun shop.
A pound of Unique goes for $30, and I get a hair over 1000 rounds out of a pound. Primers are going for $29.99 per 1k.
My actual cost is less, because I bought a few 8 lb jugs when it was more like $18-19 per pound.
Bullseye would be even cheaper, but I only use that for very light loads.

If primers go down to ~$25/1000 he may buy a few 10000. As it is in a few years his primers and lead will be gone an he'll have to pay the going rate. Buying cast bullets or scrap lead will give him a heart attack. May have to take the boys at the auto repair a couple cases of beer and see what they can squirrel away. Have fun. R.
