5150 - Bill 12/08/2005 10:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I´m sorry but I don´t see any denial from NOAA about the G5 event. At the page you directed I see where it says there have been no advisory for the last seven days but the G5 was issued as a warning. [link to www.noaanews.noaa.gov] And that link is still very much functional and unchanged. Also from the page you directed if you click upon Latest Alert, [then click] K-indices chart You´ll go to: [link to www.sec.noaa.gov] and there it sits, a K-9 on May 15th which correlates to the G-5. I´m sorry, I don´t see any denial or lying upon the part of NOAA. One more thing, I´ve never know Cl1mh4224rd to be anything other than rational. Most of his postings are very informative and reasonable. |
Anonymous Coward 12/08/2005 10:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "So, a little more observation and they´ve revised the number." It is just that the G5 was more than that 24 hours ago. And that G5 (= extreme magnetic storm) is still on their graphs: [link to www.sec.noaa.gov] and here: [link to www.sec.noaa.gov] I am a conspiracy nut myself but I do not belive that they manipulate the solar data. The mess they sometimes have is related to updating software problems most of the time. |
