As an American woman, I feel very sad and pretty much worthless.

You see, I've been conditioned to think of myself as either a second-rate citizen (the old patriachy taught me that) OR
as nothing more than a sexual object whose purpose is to snare men into casual sex (the media taught me that one).

If I were sacred, I wouldn't even know where to start looking for it.

The Holy Ghost spirit was originally female & the Trinity consisted of two masculine principles & a feminine one, the latter being the regenerative principle. At the imposition of Patriarchy the sex of the Holy Ghost altered from female to neither female nor male.

I own all of the 'gnostic' gospels and the books of the apocrypha... they are fantasy novels, they are not inspired, the only one that has any legitimacy is the book of enoch and that one has a few flaws as well!... just because something contains a little truth doesn't mean anything... I have the holy books of eastern religion as well, up to and including the tibetan book of the dead...

... People trust these books because they aren't supported by mainstream and therefore must contain legitimacy... couldn't be further from the truth!

Here is an excerpt for you, It is a bit lengthy but give a chance...I promise you will feel it:

In the underworld there is no sense of time, time is endless and you cannot rush your stay. There is no morning, day or night. It is densely dark and unforgiving. This all-pervasive blackness is moist, cold, and bone-chilling. There are no easy answers in the quick way out. Silence pervades when the wailing ceases. One is naked and walks on the bones of the dead.

My family is worried about me, they want me to go to a psychiatrist, to go back to work, to smile again. They miss my income. They think I'm crazy, but I don't even hear their words. I'm finding my way back to me in the earth every time I turn it over."

She had just spoken a truth that every woman who has made the descent knows. Women find their way back to themselves not by moving up and out into the light like men, but by moving down into the depths of the ground of their being. Her metaphor of digging the earth to find her way back to herself expresses woman's initiation process. The spiritual experience for women is one of moving more deeply into self rather than out of self.

speak after you die? well... those who have not been chosen before time began will give their testimony in the court at their resurrection... but for the elect, the court is here and now and the testimony given in this life is what will save them from the second death...

There is no strange ethereal heaven and hell like is taught in the mainstream, these words have been re-defined throughout the ages to mean something that was not within the original scope of the concept(s)...

I think you came up with the 'profess to christ after death' statement to explain to yourself how people who never heard of christ during their lives are able to be saved... that's not how it works... yes, those people can be saved, but not by the word of THEIR testimony...

I went back and read all your replies. I like you. I get the paradox you speak of at first but then it seems it drizzles down to life being meaningless.

Could you clarify that for me?

I don't mind if it is all pointless because I will do what I can to love and be kind while I am enjoying this blessing of life on this Earth but is that what you are saying or am I totally misunderstanding you??

It's not all pointless at all, completely opposite, and I don't want to make life seem hopeless because it's not... only that which is pointless to begin with is pointless...

within you exists all that can be pointless and all that can be worth something... that witch has a point to it is eternal... pointlessness is not.

... I'll go on to say that many of the theories of reincarnation come from the TRUTH that only that which is pointless will continue... If the only point to your existence is to fulfill carnal desire then you may as well be reduced to a state of lower consciousness and not even be given the chance to connect with the eternal... you may as well be an amoeba, who's only point is to reproduce...

I saw the webpage.... very interesting and i'm very familiar with the concept, however they are using the term 'spiritual' in the wrong way... spirit = desire... the spirit realm is the realm of desire...

I've had a couple NDE's myself, both involving drowning, but never left the earth plane.

No, but I was aware of what was going on, the experiences I went through were at the exact moment thousands of volts were sent into my heart... It was similar to a lucid dream, of which i'm very familiar with as well.

Personally I believe these experiences might as well be dreams... You only experience when blood is passing through the brain, blood going through your unconscious brain for a split second can cause a dream that may 'seem' to last a very long time but that's not the case... When you slip into unconsciousness you slip into what we call a dream, many things can be experienced at that moment... I had a full on out of body experience that lasted just a few moments while I was in the ambulance... I then woke up 12 days later and had to learn to walk again...

What's wrong with you woman, if that is indeed what you are? Snap out of it! Stop your whining. Why would you listen to anyone about who you are? That has got to come from inside you. If you think of yourself as some second rate citizen or some sexual object when you live in a free country then what does that say about you? You must not be doing things you shouldn't and/or not taking care of your responsibilities.
