Re: Panic Attacks? Anybody got a cure?
Panic attacks are caused by alien implants in the heart chakra in your astral body. These implants simply magnify the negative energy your feeling causing more anxiety until it is debilitating. This process releases your good energy to them so they can steal it.

Cure: understand what is going on. Understand that none of your fear comes from you and that all of it comes from out side of you. Tell the fear to go away like it was camping in your space. Make a deep decision to never give into this kind of attack again. Get acupuncture treatments to open energy blocks. Do regular energy meditation. Visualize your hand reaching into your heart chakra and ripping the implant out of your chest and throwing in the trash. Etc.

Next step is to work out how to rid the sciatica pain im having thats lasted about 3 months but thats never gonna happen working in a warehouse doing heavy lifting continually aggravating my already injured back so ill just live with the pain as i dont have any option its either be in pain or not have a job at this time of year. Next year i can get my forklift license and take away some of the strain.

Fuck some days it feels like i have the mind & body of a 60 year old lol funny because a few months before this i was thinking how healthy i felt for somebody who lives such an unhealthy lifestyle i guess it all finally caught up on me.

Re: Panic Attacks? Anybody got a cure?
my mum had panic attacks come on over a few years. Turned out to be a over active thyroid gland. she had it treated and been fine since.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1166312

I think if your getting them for no reason, then you have something going on hormonally in your body.

My daughter would get anxiety attacks in college, it was caused by a build up of too much adrenaline.
She would jog them off, allowing the body to use up the excess adrenaline.

Try this:

Put 2 parts worcestershire sauce, 1 part honey and 3 parts tabasco in a bowl. Mix it thoroughly. Put your index finger in the bowl then ram your finger up your ass.

Actually OP, i suffered for years with them and was almost house bound.
I got on paxil and have not had one since. They are from anxiety so if you can control your anxiety, you got it made.
Recently i read that kundalini rising in the body is usually the trigger for attacks.....if we are not aware of what is happening it can lead to panic attacks.
Wish i had known this back then, that was 20 yrs ago.

This is good advice. Implants, trauma based mind control tirggers that may come up that we all have, etc., the list may be long. When the panic attack is occuring, you need to clear something from your system and cells coming up. Working on the thymus gland is crucial. Ask your higher self or guides to clear any blocks, trauma from any dark entities from your aura. Take long hot baths to detox with sea salt, epsom salt, and intend to clear. That's what you need most is intention. Eating better, avoinding too much caffine and sugar, and adding some relaxing type teas can help. You also need to get control of your body by exerising, but not too much cortisol producing strenuous exericing. I recommend adding walking and definitely stretching the muscles or doing simple yoga postures to help. When you clear, more energy comes in, and you need to release it, stretching really helps. Defintiely dance or do aerobic activity of choice, but make sure you have a balance, streching and twisting helps detox too. Hope this helps. I know from experience, and you have to find out what remedies work for your situation, but know that these don't have to continue. You can balance your energy and feel better starting today. No entity, traumas, or group of anyone or anythings have the right to control your body, mind, or spirit. Peace

Re: Panic Attacks? Anybody got a cure?
Quick Run for Cover it’s a PANIC ATTACK!!

Imagine, you’re on your own in a dark ally way and you find yourself confronted by an attacker, you’re being attacked!! Quick! What do you do? What is your response to being attacked? …..Counter attack! A counter attack doesn’t have to be a full blown Bruce Lee all out ninja kun chuck flying street fight, it can be as simple as firm resistance or in deed speedy retreat, either way you have countered or responded to the attack. Counter attack is exactly the right response when you are genuinely under attack from a force that intends to hurt you. However what if you weren’t under attack – what if your attacker didn’t want to hurt you, what if the attacker simply wanted to pass peacefully by? Would they still be an attacker? Would attacker be the correct label for them? Of course not, they aren’t going to hurt you, in fact they have no intention of it, they are just on their journey too.

Where is this going I hear you ask, well the truth of the matter is in the name, Panic Attack! The person who first coined the phrase ‘Panic Attack’ has done the rest of the world a real injustice never mind the injustice done to the innocent ‘feelings’ that got tarnished and blackened with the label ‘Panic Attack’. Now you’ve lost it I hear you say! Maybe not, just wait one minute. The term ‘Panic attack’ describes in two words a terrible situation that no one would ever want to be in – you are being ATTACKED by PANIC – oh no run for cover, the evil merciless dark lord PANIC is coming to ATTACK you!!! A shivery prospect – well done Mr first person who coined the phrase, you succeeded in making people afraid of themselves – the one person we should be 100% certain of.

There has been a terrible miscarriage of justice and its time the world found out the truth, an innocent set of sensations and feelings have been behind bars for too long, its time to set them free from the perils of injustice and reintroduce them as the innocent and peaceful feelings that they are, rather than the evil attackers that they have been previously portrayed to be.

Deed Poll have been contacted, the new official name for Panic Attack is ‘Emotional Release’. Emotional release is your friend! Your true unconditional friend, do you fear your friends? No of course not, but you may fear them if you thought they were going to attack you! So here in lies the problem, fear breeds fear. FEAR of FEAR is the ultimate FEAR because it is self propelling, the cycle cannot be broken. The more you run, the more you resist, the more you counter the attack, the stronger it becomes – fear wants you to resist, fear wants you to be afraid, fear wants you to run away and hide and PANIC. Fear, attack, panic, heart attack, more panic, oh no, even more panic, I’m going to die, supercharged panic!!!

So the term Panic Attack has started you off on completely the wrong footing with your feelings, the relationship has turned sour because you don’t trust them because someone told you they were bad – they will attack you, those evil panic feelings. You have been taught to fear them; you have learned to fear yourself. Surely you couldn’t fear yourself, no of course not you fear fear, and sure fear is some outer body sensation that comes from the ground!!?* No its not! it is YOU, you are the fear, you are your own fear, you fear your own self your own feelings! But why? Why do you fear your feelings why do you resist feeling your feelings, they only want to make you feel them once and then they’ll pass on by – you can’t get stuck in a feeling. We all know there are times in our lives when we feel really intense sensations and feelings of joy and happiness but we don’t stay with those feelings – we relish them, we embrace them and we live with them, live through them with no resistance we allow them free passage within our body and soul and it’s wonderful.

The fear of feeling is holding you back from the truth of life, fear of fear is fuelling a mental illness epidemic. Inner relationship peace making is required for those who have a fear of their own feelings, an attacker is no longer an attacker when we realise their true motive is nothing other than innocent and peaceful. We all need a new approach to accepting our own feelings, we should no longer fear them but rather welcome them – hug them in our minds eye, let them be what ever they are, let them pass on by without having a massive fight with them for just doing their job. Resisting them will only make them stronger and troublesome; they will cause a whole manner of problems if you don’t let them finish their perfectly natural journey.

What we have to accept as human beings is that we have ups and downs that carry emotional markers some of which are joyful and some of which are sorrowful but they both must be felt to remain balanced and grounded. Once we start accepting the good but resisting the bad we upset a natural equilibrium within. An Emotional Release (formally known as Panic Attack), is exactly what the new term describes, it’s a release of emotion, it’s the bodies own way of rebalancing the emotional system because of previous resistance causing an imbalance. Fear of this natural and liberating experience has an opposing effect so furthering the resistance and imbalance, so the next time you feel an Emotional Release coming – embrace it, see it for the good that it is, and enjoy the liberation and inner balanced peace that it brings. For a lot of you the very thought of having an emotional release / panic attack is enough to send you into one, that’s actually because the fear of having an emotional release / panic attack is enough to tip the scales of balance so far to one side that the body has to perform an emotional release to try and bring balance back, though when the body encounters massive resistance to this, a standoff begins and all hell breaks loose.

You trust your body to make you better when you have a physical illness – you just let it happen – why do you think your body doesn’t know how to cure spiritual uneasiness? Let go just let go and enjoy the re-awaking, good luck and god bless

Re: Panic Attacks? Anybody got a cure?
Omega 3s, B vitamins, magnesium on the supplement side

But important is breathing. Practice often (many instructions
on breath meditation out there), not just when an attack
hits, but practice bringing anxiety under control with
breathing.

What works best for me is relaxed deep slow breaths,
it is especially easy to slow your out breath, your in breath
will naturally follow deeper. Follow with a deep in breath,
and then a slowed relaxed out breath. It takes a while but you
will feel your body relax.

It really works, but does take practice to get right. If you
only do it in an emergency its hard to get right. Its not just
deep slow breaths but a gentle relaxed transition into them.

Panic attacks are partly due to CO2 build up in the body.
Messed up breathing prevents you from eliminating it. The
result is an air starved panicked feeling.

One other drug alternative that works for some is neurontin.
But like all drugs of this sort it is addictive, once on it
its hard to get off of. If you can manage anxiety through
control of your body and mind rather than drugs your much
better off.

OP, my heart breaks for you. I've suffered from these bastards for over 10 yrs. I no longer go out, no longer work, no longer socialize unless my friends come to my house. I feel like I've lost my "life". I was outgoing, helpful to others, loved, and I mean loved socializing. But no longer. I've tried all the pharma's, vitamins etc.

I feel it's demonic. Nothing short of a demonic attack. Panic attacks are evil.

I have found EFT for panic attacks (on your tube) help. I think what it does it re-directs your thoughts and it works for me.

Bless you and give EFT a try and please stay off all pharma meds. As soon as you start taking perscriptions for panic attacks, you're in the insurance system as "mentally ill" and good luck trying to get treated for a real problem. They'll assume you're mental. Stay away from pharma psyc pills.

See if there are any sociopathic people in your world.
Most people have no idea how to recognize them. Learn about sociopaths/narcissistic personality disorder.

Everyone I've known that had panic attacks was involved in someway with a sociopath (boss, best friend, husband, etc.)
Panic attacks stopped once they got the person out of their lives.

Re: Panic Attacks? Anybody got a cure?
I suffer panic attacks once every few months if not more often & im so tired of it, ive tried a couple of SSRI/SNRI type drugs and they dont make a difference the only real thing that helps are benzos (valium, xanax etc) but those drugs are addictive as fuck and not a real long term solution.

I had a panic attack while driving today and had to pull over as i felt my arms going numb & tingly about to lock up. With some deep breathing exercises i was able to only make it a mild panic attack not a full blown body locks up style one but honestly there has to be something out there than prescription drugs that can cure it. Has anybody here who suffers from the same sort of issues ever found a way to avoid it all together.

Also nothing really brings these panic attacks on they just occur randomly for no real reason, im tired of living like this & wish i could find some alternative to the options doctors have offered me!
 Quoting: BillyX

I suffered from them for many years. I overcame them without the aid of medication outside of Valium for flying(and only flying)

You must reprogram yourself, you must work to convince yourself that what you are feeling is only in your mind, that the feeling of having a heart attack or stroke is just your adrenaline.

When mine would peak,I would focus my efforts on my breathing, making sure to take long, focused breaths and count to 8 on the inhale. This helps.

While you are breathing, try to let your mind drift away from the thoughts that start your peak and anxiety, and let them focus only on your breathing until the attack stops.

If you had one while driving, you probably suffer from the same type that I experienced. It stems from a loss of control or fear of loss of control. You probably thought that you would crash your car and that you might randomly lose control of the vehicle because of the attack. I know I used to get them from the same type of situation(Planes, fast moving public transportation especially). It is harder when you have to drive and yes, soemtimes you will need to pull over in order to get things back to normal. Sensation overload is also a trigger(the vibration of driving without being able to shift your position is a bad combo, along with having to concentrate on the road with that happening)

You are doing the right thing with breathing, breathing and focusing your mind away from the trigger, tricking your brain into thinking away from the trigger is the solution.

You probably think and worry too much.

No alcohol
No stimulants
Your body produces too much adrenalin
You have to stay super busy unfortunately.
Exercise. Carry a dumb bell in your car and do curls until you can't do anymore.

May sound dumb but it works. Buy a boxing bag for your home. When you feel one coming on go beat the shit out of it until you almost pass out. It will stop it and is good for you.
You cannot sit around and do nothing.

There is no magic cure.

You sound a lot like me im always helpful to others etc but have recently found that its not worth it after being attacked by a so called friend after he drank to much and snapped, started throwing punches at me for no reason. Sure seems life has thrown me a lot of obstacles in the past month but at least im still alive :)

As for the pharma meds yeh i intend to stay clear of them ive had enough issues over the years with abuse of drugs that i know chemicals are not the answer to lifes problems :)

Im trying my best not to let my anxiety control my life by trying to be social & throwing my self in difficult situations but sadly anxiety isnt an easy thing to over come & i find it difficult to meet real people my age who aren't obsessed with picking up girls and all the other stupid shit people in their early 20s are obsessed with. I dont feel i have much in common with most people i meet im probably just being too judgmental & slightly arrogant

I used to go to nightclubs a lot when i was single & was able to deal with that but these days i cant stand those sort of places.

Anyways i should go to bed its 3am here, these afternoon/night shifts are starting to take their toll on my sleeping patterns! Ohh looks like the cat has made himself nice and comfy on my pillows lol!

Thanks people of GLP i always feel i can find some good advice in this place & warm hearted people, i just wish i could find the same sort of people in real life!!

Scream and shout as loud as you can. Put a lot of effort into it. Direct anger and frustration at the feeling.

Then calm down and get as relaxed as you can using a breathing technique.

The main reason that it keeps control of you is because you have the fear that you have no control over it. Once you find a method that works, you can get over it quickly because the confidence will build on itself.

Re: Panic Attacks? Anybody got a cure?
Panic attacks can begin a physiological 'reset' in your body, just as PTSD does. Which means they can come on more easily as time goes on.

You need to interrupt them as soon as you feel like one's coming on.

Many famous folks have suffered from panic attacks. Hershel Walker had to end his football career because of it.

Google and learn a breathing technique called 'buteyko'.
It is simple and effective. What you are basically doing is allowing CO2 to stay in the system a little longer, bc CO2 acts as a vasodilator and will help hemoglobins transport O2 to your cells.

Also, you may want to get your resting O2 rate checked. Sometimes the body is telling you it's not getting enough O2. This occurs with folks with COPD often.

Another good thing to do would be to get some excellent B vitamins, also some calcium, mangnesium, zinc. I am very serious about that. B vitamins are depleted when your body has a stress reaction, which continues the cycle of B depletion.

What happens is your body is releasing loads of stress chemicals into your body. Even if this is happening bc your body is under stress, almost everyone will find some emotional reason why this happens and ignore treating it physically. And as many others have suggested, caffeine is not your friend. The EFT is also great. But the B vitamins &CaMgZ will be a great help to your body.
Best of luck to you!

GLP
