Anonymous Coward User ID: 1069180 Japan 12/29/2010 08:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Seriously. Where is the money going? Not on infrastructure.Thousands of bridges are at the point of failure. Our highways are in disrepair, our airports are outdated and yet congress gets over $170,000 a year to sit on their asses and figure new ways to steal our money. Quoting: anniesnowWhat did YOU make last year??? And we sit here on our toys and bitch. We can't tell for sure. We can only speculate... But to answer that question, as you have pointed out, it ain't going to us. Doesn't it make you wonder, that on 10 September 2001, Donald Rumsfeld announced that we were missing 2.3 TRILLION Dollars that the Pentagon could not account for--and just ONE DAY later, the ONLY COMPUTER that held ALL the accounting data was DESTROYED by that "airplane" that hit the Pentagon?(that was only big enough to be a missile and that was hidden from public view as they carried it away under a blue tarp and they forced the workers to sign a non-disclosure agreement) IS that fishy? What ARE they spending the money on? I have some ideas--and it ISN'T for US, but rather, it's for "the ELITE". I suspect that they are building underground bunkers because they know that something IS going to happen soon--maybe not exactly on the date 21 December 2012, but someday SOON, and THEY are preparing THEMSELVES, and they are going to leave us peons behind to die. Read this letter, written by a Norwegian Politician [link to www.projectcamelot.org] A Letter From A Norwegian Politician-Truth or Lie? [link to www.youtube.com] 2012 Norwegian politition Warning letter UPDATE viron [link to www.youtube.com] and in the USA: YOU'VE GOT TO WATCH THIS! Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura Apocalypse 2012 (FULL LENGTH) [link to www.youtube.com] What else are they spending the money on? IS it true that they are building FEMA DETENTION CAMPS all across the country in which to corral all the people together and lock them in those pig pens? WHY? Could it be so when they day comes, THEY, "the elite" would be able to make their great Exodus to their "Safe Places" without us being able to stop them because we're locked up? The writing is on the wall, as some of these "elite" people are stepping forward and warning us. Are we listening? Do you know where the expression, "The writing is on the wall" came from? Read Daniel, Chapter Five in the Bible. Are you going to be like King Belshazzar and WAIT until you can actually SEE the hand of God WRITING on the wall? or would you LISTEN to the people who already see it? For King Belshazzar, by the time he saw the writing on the wall, it was too late for him, and he died that night. If you read what Daniel told him, you will see that apparently, just like you, he had clues beforehand too, but he, too, chose to ignore all the clues--and he died because of it. It's up to US--and especially Americans, since it's happening IN AMERICA--at least, for now--to do something about it. But it IS happening in other countries too--or at least, it WILL happen. It IS already on the drawing board. For example, what was the purpose of the Euro but to destroy the economy of all of Europe all at once when the SINGLE currency of the Euro collapses? Is that happening? Then what? IS it possible to financially cripple ALL of Europe in ONE BLOW and get the people on their knees? Why? IS it possible that there IS a New World Order group that wants to dominate THE WORLD? Why is your American currency devalued now by Ben Bernanke printing up SIX BILLION DOLLARS to flood the market with Dollars, to make it so your prices on EVERYTHING will skyrocket after 1 January (yes, in just 3 days) so everything would cost SIXTY PERCENT (60%) more? IS it because they want to cripple America financially so when you finally wake up and realize that something IS wrong, that you don't have the money to protest? And what are you doing about it? "Sitting here on our toys and bitching?" or are you DOING SOMETHING about it? Don't you have a cable network called C-Span, where you can watch your politicians as they work in Congress? ARE YOU WATCHING? What if you see them do something BAD? Are you writing them "shame on you!" letters to let them know that you ARE watching their every move? What of the ones who do things that are GOOD? Are you sending them letters of praise? If you don't, then maybe they would give up--under the illusion that the public doesn't care--and maybe they would join the bad ones. I'll end with your question: Where IS all the money going? |

I believe Mormons don't drink coffee as part of their religious practice (anything with caffiene). Quoting: FLUFFY PUPPYAs for $77 a pound coffee: I hope his prediction doesn't to pass because I live on the stuff! Fluffy,I really don't care if he's a Morman,a Saint or a Jew. All I know is that everything he's said for the past 3 years, has come to pass. Take it with a grain of salt or not at all. All I know is that this world is in chaos and it's getting worse every day. I much prefer to be prepared, than not. Anniesnow, I'm a big Glenn Beck fan actually. I agree with you on everything he has said for the past 3 yrs coming to pass. I was merely pointing out the irony that Mormon's typically don't drink coffee and he's talking about $77 a pound coffee. I agree. It IS ironic that HE should be talking about coffee when he doesn't even drink it himself. But could that mean that either he does care about his friends who DO drink coffee and about us? or if he doesn't care about us, then could it mean that he can't seem to get people's attention on other things, so now he's using COFFEE, which he KNOWS that a lot of people wouldn't be able to live without so he's hoping that THAT would get their attention? or both? |

After about a week of not drinking my usual one morning cup I noticed I had a lot more energy in the morning, go figure. I just like the taste and the hotness in the winter but I can learn to like something else like roastaroma or something. |

Maybe my can was particularly bad, but it was so bad I cannot bring myself to try preground again. Quoting: ^Azul^If GB is right, it's time to buy into tropical real estate. Coffee comes from elevations about 4500 - 6500 feet, in latitudes near the equator. It needs a consistent temperature, no big summer / winter swings. Come to think of it, I would probably enjoy the same climate coffee does, so I should leave winter behind, learn Spanish and go someplace where they grow coffee! Oh that is ironic. I'm actually a descendant of the German Dieseldorffs of Alta Verapaz Guatemala. Maybe that is where my coffee obsession comes from, it's in my blood. They still grow coffee in the same location as 120yrs ago. You remind me of my husband's niece and she's Costa Rican and German. |

Colin is in Australia. Coffee can be grown in the US. The seedlings used to be sold a a local store here in NC. If you want alot of info on coffee and growing plants, I Highly recommend 9th ed. of Carla Emery's An Old Fashioned Recipe Book. The title is very misleading. The newer editions cost more, and the book has been broken into several smaller books. |

We are obviously not discussing trading basic necessities for luxuries. And you don't honestly think that if I take the time to make my own soap, that I don't already have tons of heirlooms seeds already put away. :OMFGZombie: ~i categorically deny all accusations~ |

There is no good coffee substitute, some people say chickory, but I don't know about that. Guess it might be better than nothing. I'd start making it half strength, and try to make it last. I have tried everything (Dandelion root, chickory, etc.) and there is no substitute for coffee.
