Kevin, I have just spent the better part of an hour reading legitimate and professional opinions on this illness.

If you sincerely suffer from it I feel badly for you.

However, there appears to be quite a few successful treatments these days. Are you pursuing any of them?

If you're up to addressing these questions I am truly interested in knowing if you fit the stereotypical person who was born with this disease.

1. Were you exposed to any teratogens during the first 8 weeks of conception? If so, does your brother suffer from this disease as well?

2. At what age were you first diagnosed with this illness?
What tests were performed to arrive at the conclusion that you suffer from this?

3. Are you currently on the prescribed medications of risperidone and olanzapine?

4. Are you grateful that your illness ceased at this level and didn't progress to full-blown autism? Or do you feel that autism has been granted more funding and study than Asperger's, making this illness less mainstream and recognizable for early treatment.

The good news is that it IS treatable. By adulthood most children have managed to overcome the drawbacks of their illness and live normal lives.

I had never heard of this disease before now and the questions above are sincere. Do you feel like answering them for me?

I hope you get help, Kevin. If you can manage to control the unsocial aspects of this disease (superiority over others, God-like complex, etc.) I think your life would be less stressful.

Where did you get your degree in meteorology OP, because the tv stations don't hire people to be weathermen without it. That's going to be a bigger factor in you not acquiring employment in this field then what someone posted on the internet.
