[link to www.morningstar.co.uk] No doubt for a little live fire training for the inevitable deployment within the states after a "nuclear accident" here. It's 160 Marines. Doubt they'd be able to deal with a nationwide disaster... You, sir, obviously do not know any Marines. |

How many other f-ing people are we going to put in harm's way here before these idiots realize the "Chernobyl Solution" is the only way to solve this problem? If even ONE of these reactors melt down (as has already happened, whether TEPCO admits it or not) the rest are soon to follow - along with the other plant down the road, simply because the radiation will be too high for anyone to remain working there. We're still spraying water? Really?? These people are f-ing with the entire world's health. It's beyond infuriating. |

Marines do not take missions lightly and will do the very best they can. More than likely they have been assessing the situation for the last few days with real world news, not MSM or you tube videos and were given the orders to move out and help in some way. They may be there to protect our interests and give some advice and will do so only upon the GOJ request. I am sure the Japanese know what to do with their experts and help from other countries nuclear experts. Since there are hundreds of nuclear generating facilities world wide with several designs going back years it is plausible to see that this should be a worldwide effort since it will affect everyone worldwide eventualy. A vehicle of what appears to be right-wing campaigners tried to enter the radiation-leaking Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, and then broke through the gate of the nearby Fukushima Daini power plant Thursday, the government's nuclear safety agency said. As the main gate of the Daini nuclear power plant was closed, the vehicle broke through the west gate of the plant and drove inside the site for about 10 minutes, they said. No matter if the USMC is there or superman. And none of us here really have any idea what is actually going on at the Fukdomes. And why is it some people still think that bombing the reactors with nukes will solve the problem? Nuke + nuke = worst possible scenario. |

We have no American interest in Libya, and there are no American at risk there. Americans have deep interests in Japan and American lives are at stake there and here at home. But we can't put together a team to help our old friends in Japan. Almost three weeks after the disaster Barry finally sends our nuclear team to help japan try to stop the destruction of the world. Barry needs to be impeached for what he does, and what he does not do. Quoting: Epic Beard Guyagreed!! |
