Here's an idea. If congress fails to raise the debt ceiling, the prez. could have the Treasury seize all 401k's and IRA's. This event might cause some civil disturbance and the police might need the re-enforcements provided by the military.

Just as an aside, this week past I have seen upwards of 30 plus army gasoline tankers headed west on route 460 in Virginia. This has been in 3 - 4 separate convoys I saw while driving on different occasions. Who know how many more I did not see.
