How the fuck did the pigs know that they were playing a poker game in the first place?

That is the exact question that will cause the case to be dropped. However, the money will never be released because it is part of an investigation.

You smell that?

Thats the scent of the cowardly rats that want to maintain control, acting out of sheer desperation.

$1000 divided by eight people = $125 each. Not exactly high stakes either.

They were probably hoping to find slot machines and other stuff...the article said there had been a lot of raids on illegal gambling in the area...

Don't know the whole story. I was under the impression that it becomes ILLEGAL once the house makes profit from the game, such as the rake or selling booze, food, etc. At least that was what we were told when the cops started shutting down all the tournaments at local bars where there was a buy-in and you'd win prizes for winning.

I don't know the law either, but they have never busted down my door during a poker game, so I'd imagine there's a lot more to the story...probably got turned by someone that lost their ass in a bet to a bookie...

Why is it legal for me a man, to walk down the street with my shirt off, but a woman will get fined?

Aren't we both human beings or am I, above the law that applies to her?

Maybe the laws need to be rewritten? Or maybe we all put our thumbs up our assess and walk around going "I CANT SEE ANY THING WRONG EVERYTHING IS FINE" all day. Yes, I think we will all just do that last thing there, at least almost all of us.

I hate it when guys walk around with no shirt on out in public...If people had a little sense and respect there wouldn't be many of the laws...
