Seems the idiots have been having a great time destorying the financial economy of the USA... that Texas Idiot and that Illinois Idiot.

The real question is where the next Idiot is going to hail from.

The BUSH/PNAC/Saud faction and rogue elements using our government and military did 911. No arabs attacked us.

As for anyone nuking Israel, highly unlikely. A mutual destruction scenario would then play out. I don't believe that Iran is going to nuke Israel. It would be more likely that Israel would nuke Iran. They have threatened Iran. There aren't any innocents other than the civilians in that one. Both governments are hostile.
If Iran developed a nuke and fired it off, exactly how would US foreign aid have stopped it?
Our military certainly couldn't prevent it from being fired off.
Israel has anti- missile tech, missiles, ships, and fighter jets. They can defend themselves. They are better armed than any country in the middle east.

Burt, we are not the world's police. We do not want to be the world's police. We can't afford it. Other countries business is none of ours. We have no business telling others how to live and forcing it on them by destruction of their countries and the killing of their citizens.

We need to mind our own business, and fix our own house.
Lead by example, not by aggressive wars. It really did work better that way, and when Ron Paul is elected, it will again.

You forgot Somalia,, but that's okay. Oh, forgot, he also funded Mexian cartels and gave them thousands of guns that they then came across the border and attacked US citizens with. Maybe not bombs, but that should count too. Obama invaded by proxy. LOL

Burt, got a question, when is the hole deep enough to stop digging? I see your point about Iran being a treat. I don't think anyone really believes Iran is not a treat. The problem was created decades ago and it still continues. Einstein once said "Insanity is repeating the same process expecting a different outcome." There is no way this end pretty but I'd rather "die on many feet than die on my knee's" Is it fair to say there is no way out with out major consequences?

Yep, and a few choice quotes there. I liked the one where Ron says we should concentrate less on the border between Iraq and Afghanistan. Hint: Afghanistan does not share a border with Iraq.

Another choice quote: During one answer to a question, Ron says he was "drafted into the Air Force", which no doubt is designed to appeal the the public. Only problem is, that was a lie. Nobody has ever been drafted into the Air Force.

Truth is, he received a draft notice from the Army 1965 and he would have been inducted as a private and possibly sent off to Vietnam. Rather than face life as a grunt in the Army, he quickly enlisted in the Air Force and became a commissioned officer, and he never got close to Vietnam.

Kind of reminds me of a young Air Force officer named George Bush.

By a large margin, Ron Paul gets the most campaign contributions from military families, more than all of the other Republican candidates together.
He gets more in military contributions than Obama.

That speaks loudly to the American people. These troops want to come home, and want the wars over. We want them home, and want the wars over.
We all want the police state and the Patriot Act to take a hike. So do they.

Listen to our troops. Vote for Ron Paul. He'll bring them home. It's the first thing he wants to do. He has talked about how to get it done fast.

Drafted into the Air Force is a joke. During Viet Nam, to avoid being taken into the Army, people would enlist into other branches. That is where 'drafted into the Air Force' came from. Going into the military wasn't a choice if you had a high draft number. The only choice was what branch.

As a doctor, Ron Paul would have served as an officer no matter what branch of the military he was in. But, as an obstetrician, his services would have been more needed in the states delivering the babies of those military wives.

You don't have a sense of humor, lack knowledge of the vernacular of that era, have no knowledge of the military, and are trying to turn good into something to shill with.

In no way could it remind you of Bush. You didn't know Bush. I did know Bush. He was AWOL. My uncle who became the Asst. Surgeon General sent a message to Bush Jr. through me that did keep Bush's sorry ass from being demoted from officer to grunt in Viet Nam.

Ron Paul told the truth. He always does. Ron Paul has integrity. Ron Paul is brilliant, consistent Constitutionally, and is the most knowledgable candidate who also has the most respect of his colleagues.

Maybe there is hope for America !

Plus, I still can't believe so few people voted -- Fox either stopped the voting or reset it -- either way, I think we all know for all FOX trys to tow the conservative line, they are for the middle man, milk toast candidates like Romney (just the other side of the same coin as Obama). Jerkwad O'Reilly continues to beat his drum of saying that only 3 candidates are viable and he dismisses Ron Paul all the time. FOX is a faux front, too.

OK, so I didn't know George Bush, but I am old enough to have registered for the draft when Vietnam was winding down. And I fully understand the vernacular of the time and the many way that anyone would pursue to avoid being sent off as a grunt to Vietnam. Nothing wrong with that, and I would have done whatever I could to get out of it myself. But you're correct - I didn't know George Bush. I didn't run with that kind of crowd.

How can "drafted into the Air Force" be truthful? It's an exaggeration. Nobody has ever been drafted into the Air Force. Ever. And I never heard anyone say they were drafted into the Air Force in the 70s, although I knew a few who ran straight to the Coast Guard or the Air Force when they had high numbers, were certain to get called, and didn't want to run to Canada or Sweden. Being "drafted" does have a nice salt of the earth ring to it though, doesn't it?

Secondly, Ron Paul was not a doctor when he joined the Air Force to avoid being drafted into the Army. He was about halfway through med school at Duke University. He was not an obstetrician yet. He did not deliver babies after he enlisted in the Air Force. He finished med school years later while in the Ar National Guard, and then he became a doctor. Get your facts straight.

And for the guy who simply replied with the Penn Jillette STFU - go bury your head in the ground. And never, ever question the magnificent statements made by politicians particularly when it's a politician who may have duped you. I'm actually quite happy that people have questioned Bush's military service, Clinton's truthfulness about his affairs, Obama's birth certificate, and yes, Paul's claims about his past life as well.

Except Ron Paul is a doctor and has a brain and actually cares about our country.
