"Attack The Block" link inside seriously. just finishing the last 5 minutes. totally worth watching to kill some time. long story short. alien invasion in the ghetto in london. bunch of teenagers fight it off. NOT CORNY. decent effects, good gore. bunch of hoodrats running around kicking ass with baseball bats, samurai swords and fireworks. had some good laughs, wont win an academy award but damnit it was entertaining. very pleasantly surprised. Most of UK movies are shit and damnright depressing. This one although being shit and depressing, not so bad for a B class brit movie.

Iv also noticed that over the last say 7 yrs or so english films are getting quite good. budgets might be lower but i find myself looking forward to the next one |
