But today was the closest i have seen it to the sun, a wide lens could have got them in one photo, so not the moon I thought it was moon size though. And also i confirm the huge star. And the huge star stays bright long after all other stars have faded. I have photos of it against a bright blue morning sky. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1905638 Germany 10/21/2011 06:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Today my husband was walking out the door to go to work. He came back into the house and said "you need to see this." I walked outside to find what looked like a smaller version of the moon, but at 11 AM in broad daylgiht. It was clearly a planet. Although it resembled the moon, it was quite a bit smaller. Also, the moon is currently on the OTHER side of our house, so it wasn't even on the right side. There's no way it was the moon. Part of it was covered by clouds. We took several pictures. We wondered if it was Nubiru. In addition to that, every night we have seen this VERY large star that is possibly ten times the size of the other stars. It has remained "fixed" in place, and has not moved for days. Every night we go outside and look at it. I guess we have more questions than answers. Was what we saw Nubiru, and what is that strange star? My husband commented that the star resembled the "star of Bethlehem." When Jesus was going to be born, God provided the three wise men with the star of Bethlehem. They used it as their guide to lead them to the manger. I had also thought this. From pictures I've seen, the star of Bethlehem had a speciic shape that was unique, and was brighter than other stars. Could it possibly be that it is in fact the star of Bethlehem? Could this be a sign from God that Jesus is coming again? This time he wouldn't come as a baby in a manger, but on the clouds, as Lord of Lords, and King of Kings. Quoting: Dease Yes, the moon is certainly 'interesting' these days. If you have a point of reference when the moon is rising, you will notice it is moving at an incredible pace. I believe the large star you are talking about it the planet Jupiter (in the East.) That being said, it is moving, although slowly, as compared to the moon (or so I have observed.) I am no astronomer. You might consider getting the Stellarium program (free download.) I have found it most helpful with regard to learning about the stars and watching the phenomena/anomalies currently taking place. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 3410117 Spain 10/21/2011 07:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | [link to earthsky.org] On October 29, 2011, Jupiter will be at opposition. At opposition, the Earth passes in between the sun and Jupiter, at which time Jupiter lies opposite the sun in Earth’s sky. If you could look down upon the solar system plane at this time, you’d see the sun, Earth and Jupiter making a straight line in space, with Earth sitting in between the sun and Jupiter. Because Jupiter is opposite the sun at opposition, Jupiter rises in the east at sunset, soars to its highest point in the sky at midnight and sets in the west at sunrise. An opposition is extra special, because that’s when Jupiter shines all night long, from dusk till dawn. Also, this is when Earth comes closest to Jupiter for the year, and Jupiter, in turn, shines most brightly in our sky. What’s more, the 2011 opposition of Jupiter will present Jupiter nearest to Earth until the year 2022. |

User ID: 3747920 Australia 10/21/2011 08:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Would the moon still be showing right now as of 8:34, clear as day? I mean the sun is up and shining bright as can be and the Moon is very visible here and not far from the sun? Is it the moon? I don't know. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1532068 The moon has always been visible during the day. Albeit it's not as bright and easy to spot, you can definitely see it with the naked eye. “Saying one government is better than another government because one only killed 10 million, as opposed to 100 million is absolute insanity.” - Shingen. Thanks for pointing that out to me. I will pay close attention tonight. Last night the moon was not visible at all. It simply disappeared, when nights before it had been very visible. Things just keep getting more and more strange. I was exhausted last night but I PROMISE I will post the pics tonight. At first, the pics were hard to see, but once I used my husband's zoom factor it showed up great. I am going to try and see if I can do that online. |

Quoting: ljib777 These are the days where the Lord Jesus told us to look up, for our redemption draws near. Reminds me of the 4 beasts in front of the altar in heaven, they are filled with eyes. Pretty cool. Amen to that! Our redemption draws near indeed. I have not seen the eyes in the clouds, but will look for them. I saw a picture online once that looked like Jesus was holding His hands out. This the time of signs and wonders. God will reveal the truth to all of us if we only let Him. 0_0 Eyes in the clouds? No. |
