Anonymous Coward User ID: 31900 Hong Kong 10/14/2005 08:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It can happen. I got put under by an Indian dude in Hong Kong & ended up going off with him to a cashpoint & gave him $1600 HK - around 200 US. It started off with a ´fortune-telling pitch, segued into a routine about a good-luck spell, & went on from there. One´s own greed is the hook upon which one ends up twisting in regret - not that I´m suggesting greed on the part of the unfortunate bank tellers in this case. Not my finest hour, but at least it gave me some food for thought. Much of our collective human existence as we see it today seems to conform to the condition of a butt-naked & filthy Emperor´s new wardrobe of terror trance. |
