She got busted committing fraud, last time I checked there has be a long history of arrest and convictions of hundreds of bankers that defrauded the public out of their money.

It's not about Bernie Madoff. You are ignoring the bailouts that Wall Street received. That money went to cronies. And what we have here in the USA is Crony Capitalism. When the money is created out of thin air, it is passed on to cronies. Those cronies are no more entitled to that money than that woman who stole food stamps. But she is arrested, and they aren't.

We are talking about global economic doom on a scale that you cannot comprehend if the government had let those banks fail.

Personally I don't agree with the bailouts, but they were all legal in the eyes of our laws passed by congress and executed by the president according to our laws.

That makes them legal, and if you are an American with money in any of the banks that received these bailout you profited as well from them, that makes you just as much a corporate crony as the rest of them.
