Anonymous Coward User ID: 5834957 United States 12/13/2011 02:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | good..this post is ironic because just last week i was going down the street in downtown and i kept looking in my review mirror because a guy riding my ass was on the phone which looked like he was arguing by this hand gestures and his mouth moving like a thousand miles per hour. I kept thinking to myself..this guy is going to rear end me at the next stop... Well low and behold my intuition was spot on unfortunately..i came to a stop light and bam! i got hit from behind and i looked back to my rear view mirror and seen the guy with phone next to ear with his mouth wide open as if he waw like "OH SHIT" ...yup..that bastard is now having to pay the price and unfortunately..so am i although a free rental car from insurance doesnt make things too bad for me. |

Exactly. But with the number of folks I see still talking with a phone to the ear and texting even with the laws, I cannot imagine them obeying that one, either |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 5490382 United States 12/13/2011 02:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | In the interest of maximizing safety and minimizing distractions, I also suggest the following: - All radios, CD players, and MP3 devices should also be disabled while the car is in gear (driving); - Passengers should be prohibited from talking to the driver (or talking while in the car period) as this is also a major source of distraction; - All roadside billboard and/or business signs (especially those that are lit-up at night or "blinking") should be banned... LOL (sarcasm intended) |
