I know the respect for women nowadays is downright degrading, but there are still wonderful, Godlike women who fit into this beautiful description. I have been raised with so much love from my mom, and I took that for granted my whole life.

Thank you for such a positive thread. I have to add that my husband of 18 years treats me with so much respect and much love that i wouldn't be the same compassionate and open person without him today. He is my true soul mate.
You go on to talk about women as mothers... we decided many years ago not to have children for various selfless reasons. What do you think about women who decide not to have children?

Women don't choose to be born female, while men don't choose to be born male. Why honor someone for something they had no control over? Why not just honor people for who they are instead of what reproductive organs they have? This is stupid. I also don't understand the lack of balance between honor of female AND male. Everyone always wants to worship women for what they do, while what men do are taken for granted. I also dislike when people take pride in their race and looks. These are some of the most idiotic and irritating things, along with female worship, that I come across. I do not get it. Never will get it. I look at people for how they choose to carry themselves, not by what they had no say in.

That's what I'm saying.

Was it not a woman who birthed you? I am sure a woman was there for you to raise you--orphan or not.

I've been hurt by women...I'm sure we all have. That's not the point.

I used to have hatred for my mother. Why? Because I was living without love and materialistically. I have been cheated on....but realize that these things happen because the world.
