What SOPA really means...according to my 18 year old daughter

Could very well be, she is smart.

I think that is a very good point actually, if the post office is gone then without the internet there is NO way to send information freely without talking face to face with someone.

BTw, that is the smartest thing I have heard from someone my age... in a very, very long time... years...

I am 19, and 99% of my graduating class is dumb or follows mainstream trends and could care less about any of this stuff.

EDIT: They seem to really get ticked off about the SOPA thing because it would take away their technology. Otherwise, everything I say is a nutjob conspiracy that someone else should deal with.

I have been saying this about SOPA, FACEBOOK, YouTube, SMART PHONES....blogs.....etc...on and on.


Anything that you post online they want to track...and not just by IP.
They are building files on everyone they can.
Facebook is THE BIGGEST government database going....and people WILLINGLY give over info to them.
God forbid, sometime in the future, the USA turns into something like Obama is trying to create with his attackwatch website...and all his other MARXIST crap.

Anyway.....

Not for nothing, but my presumption of our capitalistic society tells me that if there is a need, that need will be fulfilled for a marginal profit.

If the USPS goes belly up, well I bet that Federal Express or United Parcel Services will fill the need. Probably just a small subscribers fee.

Not like you're going to take down your mailbox or anything.

Curious thing is proportionality how much money in taxes should be reduced due to the disbandment of the USPS.
