NIBIRU/DOOM’S DAY/2012: I’m still wondering why did Calleman choice the October 28th 2011 as his real end-date of the Mayan calendar and not the
According to Calleman, as to the currently living Mayans, the end of the current long circle has to be a 13 AHAU, end date of a Tzolkin Calendar’s cycle (sort of 31th of December for them).

But Calleman thought it would be the 28th of October 2011 and the Mayan thought it would be a date in March 2013 (and this 13 AHAU is the closest of the Mayan Long Count Calendar end-date, the well-know December 21th (or 23th) 2012) and I think that the reason why they chose that date).

But nobody wants of the July 14th 2012 for an end-date. It could although be the righteous date. It a few farther from the Long Count end-date than March 2013, but it’s in the SAME YEAR: 2012.

That’s the French national feast: just a perfect date for a grandiose and final doom’s day.

It’s still five months ahead from the Mayan Long Count Calendar, but it’s closer than the Calleman’s date and at least in the same year.

It’s amazingly the day after the third and last Friday 13th of 2012.

And it’s also one month after the second secular transit of Venus. We know how important the Venus Calendar was for the Mayan. So a correspondence between the end of a great cycle and a transit of Venus would be plausible.

And why should the current cycle end in winter, when the precedent one ended in summer (August 12th)?

Finally a difference of 5 months between the Mayan Long Count Calendar (365 days like us) and their usual (Tzolkin) calendar (260 days) is also plausible in more than 5000 years, alike between the Julian and the Gregorian calendar for us (delay of 11 days in 1500 years) , even though the Mayans were by far more precise in their calculation than the Romans. But they couldn’t be so precise to determine exactly one given day 5125 years in advance.

Then it’s possible that the Long Count Calendar’s purpose would be to determine the END-YEAR.

And the Tzolkin Calendar would give us the PRECISE DATE in this year, so the 13 AHAU.
Fortunately there’s only one 13 AHAU in 2012: July 14th 2012!!

Just more proof that Calleman is full of shit. The end date is not 13 Ahau. It has been written and can be calculated that the end date is 4 Ahau, name of the day and the Katun beginning on the long count date 13.0.0.0.0. The start date was 4 Ahau 8 Cumkhu and the end date is 4 Ahau 3 Kankin. It is written in glyphs in the Dresden Codex, at Izapa, and countless other places.
