I spoke to somebody recently who I thought was smart but he believes in the 2012 Mayan calendar/end of the world thing like a religion. He's actually spent big money preparing for it and determined where he's living now in preparation for it. I asked him if he thought he's safe where he is and he said to be taken away by aliens or something... Meanwhile he calls Christians stupid and ignorant for believing in the rapture. I tried to point out to him in polite way that his beliefs are no different than Christians who believe in a rapture of the church. You think someone is sane then you find out they're a lunatic, geez. Anyway, do you know anyone who really believes the 2012 Mayan calendar/end of the world thing?

Yes, my roommate believes it, but he's not making survival plans. He bought a few extra bottles of liquor, but they'll be gone by next week. He bought 2 new sets of floor mats for his new car, so now he has 3 sets of mats. I guess that's prepping. Personally, I plan on roasting his liquor-soaked fat ass.
