Sorry, that just looks like a dandelion let go too long, to me.

BTW they are not just weeds. Dandelion greens are quite tasty and nutritious. You just have to be sure they've not been sprayed.

As for the radiation... it's everywhere now. And has been for a while. We should never have split the atom. Worst thing humanity ever did, except perhaps invent the Infernal Combustion Engine, or start messing with genes.

The frogs are still singing in my Northern California pond and I have not seen any with three eyes or two heads. Frogs are our canaries. So long as they're okay we're probably okay, too.

Those grow everywhere here in Vegas. They wern't everywhere as much last year only a couple. They grow like this as babies. They are all over my yard, and they are strong buggers. I keep killing them. There are normal dandi's alongside them.
