I'm not trolling. I'm supporting the original poster's intent of this thread. How is that trolling? I'm trolling for asking for HARD EVIDENCE of nuclear fusion? LOL, okay, Ireland.

What proof do you want - college transcripts? My book collection? My brain? It's not rocket science, it's nuclear physics - we know how the A bomb worked right? How do we know fission/fusion is taking place out there? Did we travel there to see it? No. It's called THEORY. Please do not mistake THEORY for FACT. That is my point. Theoretical physics is the most indoctrinated science out there - and it's sickening to those of us with open and critically thinking minds to see people say "Yes it is, the science books say so!"... no.. these are theories.. just theories. NOT PROOF.

Why don't solar panels work at night?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9994281

Solar panels absorb the sun's energy to charge, yes? When it is night, that energy is coming from the opposite direction of the earth, not directed at the panel, yes?

I think you're failing to prove your point here. Wait, what was your point? :) Teasing. It's okay, Ireland. I'm not trying to be offensive, I'm just trying to get you to THINK. Not accept the poster's article, just THINK. It's theoretical physics! Not fact!

Namaste,

Jessica
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1548135

Lol Jessica. I have a hard time believing you've studied all those things and yet haven't a clue how solar panels work. Lol indeed.

The fact is, if all the hard evidence, not conjecture, but hard evidence supporting fusion on the sun was posted on GLP it's servers would melt.

There is nothing theoretical about the sun's fusion engine or the sun's temperature.

Photovoltaic solar panels work by using photons from the sun to create a flow of electrons. The photons come from the sun's nuclear reaction and can be measured a thousand different ways (and have been). No nuclear reaction, no photons, no solar energy.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9994281

I know how solar panels work. I call it the sun's energy you call it photons from nuclear reactions. I remain humble and critical and skeptical. You assert "facts", regurgitate science we all have heard before and call it Truth.

Yes, it is all theoretical because there is much to learn yet about that powerful sun the ancients saluted, that creates and creates and creates. Does a plant grown from nuclear fusion too? Is that how that works? You plant a seed and sun shines on it and it grows and grows. Yet it doesn't take the soil away to make the plant does it? There isn't a gaping hole in the ground where the soil once was that was used to make the leaf? No. "Photosynthesis" is taking place. Energy is changing states but no nuclear fusion is occurring is it? No. DNA has been activated. All so simple right. We have it all down pat. We understand it all as fact? BS! It's creation.

I ask you - what is a photon? A man made word for a particle of light? A pod to carry electromagnetic energy/force? How would you like to describe it? Whatever it is, it has been coined a photon by Man. How do you know the photons come from nuclear reactions? What you are really saying is a photon is produced when energy changes states. And you are calling it nuclear fusion because that is what you've been taught. Sure. Okay. Call it what you want. It doesn't change the fact that the bonding of hydrogen atoms to create a "star" still remains a theory.

I am saying that nuclear fusion is a theory and you're disagreeing with me. I don't know how you can disagree with the obvious: which is there is much to learn and living in an indoctrinated state will not serve you.

Have fun:

See the following response about the temperature of the space at: [link to imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov] . Here is the text from that website:

"The Question:
All I wanted to ask you is that if we put a thermometer in Space with no other light or heat source around and absolutely no background radiation there, what would it read? Would the temperature be really cold or what?
"The Answer:
"Yes, it would be really cold. Temperature measures the energy per "degree of freedom" (i.e., way something can move) of whatever molecules happen to be around. So, it becomes so cold that the molecules stop all together, then this is the "absolute zero" temperature. On the Celsius Temperature Scale (i.e., water freezes at 0, and boils at 100) this takes place at -273 o C.

"We usually use the Kelvin temperature scale, where Zero Kelvin is this "absolute zero" temperature -- or -273 o C. Water freezes at +273 o Kelvin and water boils at +373 o Kelvin.

"If we put a thermometer in darkest space, with absolutely nothing around, it would first have to cool off. This might take a very very long time. Once it cooled off, it would read 2.7 o Kelvin. This is because of the "3 degree microwave background radiation." No matter where you go, you cannot escape it -- it is always there."

This is the reason some things can go right into the Sun and bounce off with out being destroyed. Also the sun is Hallow to a point, this is where the Aliens have their Base. The reason we see ships coming from the Sun.Of course most people will believe other wise because you have been condition to believe the Sun is a Hot fireball, and you will denie the truth because you cannot comprehend this your Brain has not become aware of anything else except what it has been taught.

The difference between being awake and asleep is that when you awaken you have t ability to see things beyond whats being showed or told to you, being asleep means that you believe everything that tptb tell you you see it as what it is you cant see beyond the Illusion.Peace

Yes. Again. Don't look at the sun! Scientists warn! Yet when we do it right we find it activates what those same scientists call "junk DNA" and we become evolved, advanced and continually created. Like the seed planted in soil - creation, DNA activation.

IF that is your astronomer I have to say I'd like a second opinion.

BTW, your assumption that a thermometer would not react in space is incorrect. The radiation given off by the sun interacts with the mass of the thermometer, giving off heat. That is what light and heat are, different types of the same energy. Light doesn't feel hot until it smacks into an object.

Here's another slam-dunk. Space is not a perfect vacuum.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1435831

Light and Heat are NOT different types of the same energy other than they are types of energy, but not the same.

Reading comprehension is a requirement for intelligent discussion. You fail. Example was what the temp would be without any interaction of the sun or other sources of energy.

Light doesn't feel hot, until it hits you and is converted into heat. Light is not hot, it's light.

well,if the sun is indeed "cold",from where do you suppose our planet receives heat and light?this is such a fundamental argument one doesnt need to bring out details.this is absolute bsflag

I haven't finished reading the article, but will later, but it initially makes sense.

Although it may be the author is splitting hairs. The actual temperature of the sun seems to me it may be very cold, but the closer you get to the sun the radiation it emits creates a higher and higher interaction that when it impacts something converts that radiation to a higher and higher temperature.

Re: The Sun is Cold, contrary to popular belief.
Greetings:

The Star Called "Sol" Is Indeed "Cold" ... In That It Is Composed Of Energized Plasma !!

However ... The Energies That It Gives Off ... If You Are In A Space Vessel That Is Not Shielded ... These Will Burn You To A Crisp ... For It Is The Interaction Between The Two Contacts ... Which Creates The Heating Effects !!

It Is Not Dissimilar To The Effects Which Cause The Heat & Light On Terra/Earth & Other Worlds !!

The Star's Plaza Energies ... It's ... What You Refer To As "Radiations" (Which Actually Is Much Much More Then This !!) ... Interacts With The Energies Of Terra/Earth ... A "Frictional Effect" Is Created ... Producing Your Heat & Light !!

If The Energies Of The Star/Sun(s) Are Cut Off ... Prevented From Reaching The Planet ... Then The Planet Would Be Dark ... Of Extreme Bitter Cold ... Frozen ... Of The Temperature Of Space !!

It Is Why When You Leave The Planet ... That It Suddenly Becomes Dark !! ... If Your Star/Sun Would Be The Sole Source Of Heat & Light (Without Interaction(s) ... Then It Would Remain Lighted & Warm ... As It Becomes Dark ... This Says That There Are "Other Factors" Which Are Involved !!

We Would Also Mention ... That Of The Changes That Will Come There ... Of The Volcanoes ... They Will Expell Great Amounts Of Dirt, Dust, Ash, Particulates Into The Planet's Atmosphere ... Of Which This Will Serve To Deflect & Absorb The Solar/Stellar Energies Coming In ... In Effect ... The Same Results Will Occur !!

There Will Be Very Little Of The "Radiations/Energies" That Will "Get Through" ... To Act/Interact With Terra/Earth ... Any That Do ... Will Mostly Be Reflected Back Into Space ... From The Polished Miles Thick Icy & Snowy Surface !! ... It Will Be Dark ... & Extremly Extremly Cold !! ... 250 Degrees + Below O ... Dark & Frozen !! ... The Planet Itself Seen ... Suspended/Floating In Space ... It's "Inner Core" In A Suspended/Shut Down State !!

Farewell For Now !!

The Light shining forth is not generated by the mirror, but shines from Family on the other side.

When you light a candle you are burning off thousands/millions of nano diamonds. Yes where the light comes from is a mystery.

Yes. Again. Don't look at the sun! Scientists warn! Yet when we do it right we find it activates what those same scientists call "junk DNA" and we become evolved, advanced and continually created. Like the seed planted in soil - creation, DNA activation.

They didn't teach me this in physics. WHY? :)

JUNK DNA!!! HAHAHA

no bigger joke in all of history.

Junk DNA... lmao. That doesnt even make sense.

Re: The Sun is Cold, contrary to popular belief.
OP - that's my point. People become indoctrinated by "science" failing to realize it's been written and worked and coined Truth by the very same people we stand up against. Why take theory as fact?

Wonderful post.. just wonderful. Thank you!

Namaste,

Jessica

Re: The Sun is Cold, contrary to popular belief.

Have fun:

Thank you for asking. I really enjoy studying electric universe theory because it makes a lot of sense and on a metaphysical level it relates directly to my spiritual belief system that we're all beings of energy.

I don't have a definition for "what the sun is made of" but it is energetic in all sense of the word, I suppose. I believe the universe is very much alive and electric universe theory helps scientific minds understand that further. Look into it. :)

This is a lovely compliment to my ancient yoga philosophy studies, etc. I would bring this to class but it would likely go over their heads... :)
