Here is something else of interest.

Memo calls into question repeated assertions: WE DO NOT TORTURE

Pentagon Memo on Torture-Motivated Transfer Cited
A court filing describes a classified proposal to send a detainee away for information extraction.

By Ken Silverstein, Times Staff Writer

WASHINGTON — Although Bush administration officials have denied that they transfer terrorism suspects to countries where they are likely to be abused, a classified memorandum described in a court case indicates that the Pentagon has considered sending a captured militant abroad to be interrogated under threat of torture.

The classified memo is summarized — its actual contents are blacked out — in a petition filed by attorneys for Majid Mahmud Abdu Ahmad, a detainee held by the Pentagon at its Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, facility.

The March 17, 2004, Defense Department memo indicated that American officials were frustrated in trying to obtain information from Ahmad, according to the description of the classified memo in the court petition. The officials suggested sending Ahmad to an unspecified foreign country that employed torture in order to increase chances of extracting information from him, according to the petition's description of the memo.

The precise contents of the Pentagon memo on Ahmad were not revealed, but the memo was described in the petition by New York attorney Marc D. Falkoff, who contested the transfer of Ahmad and 12 other Yemenis in U.S. District Court in Washington this year.

12985 & 5047, You got that right, and the hits just keep on coming.
I've sent a lot of this to a member of the Senate who at least takes the time to read it.

I've also asked why we aren't manufacturing all hybrids, or vehicles that use other sources of clean renewable fuel. Why is the government pursuing continued dependence on foreign fuel when we can grow our own?
And make farming lucrative again.

Why aren't solar panels required in all new construction in areas where this is feasible, and that includes industry?

And who the hell does Dubya think he is anyway? If he would disregard the Constitution, then it is easy to see how easy it is for him to ignore what is right, moral, ethical.

It is easy to see how he was able to steal two elections without caring if the public found out.
It is easy to see how he could make sure that the Congress & Senate were given bogus intelligence to get the vote he needed to make war.
It is easy to see how he could devastate an entire country whose people by the millions had been holding candle light vigils mourning an American tragedy, 9/11, with us.
A black ops team could have removed Sadam and sons with minimum casualties.

And, Wild Bill Clinton ? Since when did one of the most popular and brilliant Presidents we will ever see, and his brilliant VP become names we shouldn't speak ? RIDICULOUS !

President Bill Clinton and team ran this country like a business that could do more than succeed. They made it prosper. There was more peace in this world, and more positive energy than I can ever remember.
Bill Clinton's IQ 184

Dubya the Dufus' IQ 94, minus damage from decades of alcohol and cocaine abuse. Add in the residual paranoia, and meglamania features of the above mix, and it's easy to see the personality that made this mess.

Don't think Dubya is innocent of the decades long plan to take over, specifically to occupy Iraq.
Backstage, at his father's appearance at the Republican convention, in 1992, a PBS documentary team filmed Dubya JR ordering his father to lie about Clinton/Gore. His father said he wouldn't do it. Bush Jr. was aggitated, and adamant about smearing the Democrats, & going back to Iraq to take out Sadam, & occupy it. On film for the world to see.

William J. Clinton: Rhodes scholar, a two-term Governor of Arkansas, Council on Foreign Relations member, Trilateral Commission member, a Bilderberger anointed by the Bilderberg Group, a free trade advocate and a true globalist.

George W. Bush: Skull-n-Bones member, a former party animal, Air Force Reserve member (still is), Harvard MBA grad, oil businessman, self-made man (ex-alcoholic, born-again Christian), baseball team majority owner and two-term Governor of Texas.

CFR is a NWO elite group. So is TC. Bilderberg Group won't share its secret details with the public for 50 years. Rhodes scholarship is based on Cecil Rhodes' visions of one world government. Globalism is the preferred, coordinated goal for an one world government system.

Bush is a broke back cowboy
Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

OP

*No* President would *ever* say something like that, so that article is *bullshit*. That is not surprising though, considering where it came from. Capitol Hill Blue is an *anarchist* site, that would write *anything* (including flat-out lies) to topple the Gov't. Their motto says it all:

"Because nobody's life, liberty or property are safe while Congress is in session, or the White House is occupied."

Re: Bush - Constitution "Just A Goddamned Piece Of Paper"
Bush was AWOL, for years. My uncle, who was top military brass, told me that if Bush didn't show up , he would be transferred to Army grunt duty in Nam. bush was making excuses as to why partying in Austin was why he wouldn't show up in Alabama, and thought he was fooling the military.
He wasn't, and my uncle was pissed at being put in the middle of this little wussy, and the White House.

I know where Jr. was, because I lived and worked in close proximity in Austin.

Bush's degree is bought and paid for, necessary to rise to political ranks.
He majored in cheerleading.

OIl business, check the $'s. He lost money, just like his brothers, and was involved with the Bin Laden's and friends.

Bush is loyal to the Bush's bank accounts.
His loyalty is not the the US first.

The Rangers, bought and paid for by his Daddy, already a money maker. Put Jr. in the public eye, in a business he was unlikely to be able to bankrupt.

Texas governor > bought and paid for, both times. Used his Daddy's name , and pretended to be a Texan. He destroyed a state surplus, and a school sytem that was gaining higher ratings, and a health care system that was funded, and blew it all. He left the state of Texas with the largest deficit ever, and no one , no one but maybe the Bush's bankers know where the money went.

Reliable sources report a serious drug problem in the White House, Oval Office, and administration accounting for the paranoia.

Born again Christian ? More like acting for the cameras. Dubya himself, and his campaign team starting way before the first run, thought it important to gain the evangelist Christian vote, asked what he had to do to gain it, and then put on the act to bring it about. they were pretty sure that if the right wing Christians believed that Bush spoke for God, that he could get into office, and then do what ever he wanted. But then, that's obvious.
The Bush's have been free trade, particularly with Mexico, long before Clinton was President.
That's partly how Bush turned Texas from a wealthy state with a surplus to a poor state with a huge deficit in 3 short years.

Clinton is no traitor. Had he been that, the USA wouldn't have prospered during his administration. I would much rather have someone that smart, experienced, and able to cut through the crap at the Bilderberger meetings than have no representation at all. We have to have people in there to be able to create guidance in our favor.
Clinton is a globalist in terms of the environment, and today stood up and called Dubya on his stupidity. If we don't see and treat this planet as one planet ,at least environmentally, which is what is it is, we will be the victims of what lessor developed nations will do in the near future.
the problems at a tipping point now require more resources than we have, and require more cooperation than simply within our borders.

For many reasons , the world is a smaller place. The internet is international, and this forum proves how alike we are, and how the same events, and economic factors affect us all.
Some kind of cooperative world organization able to pull together countries, resources, businesses, and individuals is going to be important to all of our survival, and chance for abundance in the future.
It will take a mighty group of nations and leaders to force China to clean it up, and bring their money into line with other economies. It will take the same to make China and other developing nations clean up their environment. Just a couple of weeks ago, China industry dumped radio active materials into a river that is taking the poison straight into Russia.
There are world size problems that will require worldwide cooperation. I hope all the nations will be able to maintain their soverienty, and be able to work together in a spirit of cooperation.

We need our brightest people in those organizations, or , those organizations will eat us alive without our representation and influence.
they can direct the state of our economy without our input, or influence. They can make wars against us environmentally, biologically, and economically, and militarily.

If I had to pick one person who could handle it, and influence organizations that already exist, I can't think of better person than Clinton to do it.

cheer

Bundy can't believe his beloved Bush would do something like that.

It would take astounding evidence.

Something like an admission on tape, with signed certificates saying he really meant his confession, Handed to him by Bush himself.

And even then, he would just think it was a robot or something.

:)
Peace.

Texas Uncensored, you are a TRAITOR to the US because you picked Clinton over Bush.

Clinton is the true Traitor to the United States of America. He broke more constitutional laws as President than Bush and undermined the states by empowering the Federal Government to greater lengths than any of his predecessor.

You're a sham, sir.

I don't like Bush but at least Bush have more balls than Clinton and is actually a stand-up guy.

BULLSHIT!

The guy who wrote the original article is lying, plain a simple.

Our world has come to a terrible point, where journalists are pathetic liers, and the people listen to them because they want to hear these lies. Pushing their lies to support their political agenda, lying to lift themselves up, get a better job, or a raise. Really disgusting.

You stupid assholes that listen to these lies deserve what is coming. Enjoy it.
