odd times, military flights near Syracuse NY

live in Upstate New York, home of the renamed 174th National Guard ATTACK Squadron (formerly "fighter wing") Yes we've become used to the drones at all hours - drones from here are used in Afghanistan, Pakistan etc. They are actually CONTROLLED from Syracuse and are seen for miles around.

But that's not all. We've been inundated with KC-10's - large refueling planes for 3 months. Usually CNY'ers are warned about late night aircraft, training etc. The TV news even said they were surprised we have not been notified ONCE of any of this odd activity in order to alleviate citizens calls to 911 etc.

I finally borrowed somebody's camera and took my OWN video today, a few miles from Syracuse, these keep going over. Sound is pretty weird too. Will upload my video shortly.

It's not just KC-19's. Been seeing all sorts of aircraft that we've never seen before, and we've seen plenty. Also road convoys on the increase.
