Read more: [link to www.nydailynews.com] 2 - the police come to arrest her FOR CHILD ENDANGERMENT.....even tho she left them in their care. Leaving any kid with the police is putting them in harms way...therefor child endangerment. Ironic isn't it? |

We see adults that screw up their lives everyday. As a mother that worships the ground my children walk on, and turns a blind eye at times to their indiscretions (since they're adults), I would never have put them in harms way, PERIOD. IF I had a drug or alcohol problem, and there was no where else to turn for help for myself or my kids, my last resort may have been the cop shop. Who knows? I can't speculate what this mom was thinking. The poor kids are old enough to not only realize their mom's last actions before she died was to get rid of them, but how their mom died was horrible. Maybe mom was actually a loveable person prior to being addicted. People here wouldn't consider that because of her black mug shot. Very heartbreaking that people don't ever consider the children, and how their lives will turn out due to this tragedy. SMILE...you're not as stupid as they think you are! She had abandoned her kids at the Police station because she couldn't look after them and had a substance abuse problem. No doubt the health problems already existed which is sad for her kids. |

She may of been drug addicted but sadly that does not warrant being murdered. The even more tragic truth is the amount of stupidity and ignorance so many try and boast of here on this thread by insulting the woman based on an addiction, which can be seen on an MRI scan...or the fact that she apparently is black Since when are drug addicts one color...talk about stupid!!! Drug addiction like spousal abuse is not specific to one race come out of the cave kids...monsters come in all colors and creeds...so do addicts. |
