I'm not a professional skeptic, nor do I play one on TV or this forum, nor anywhere else. But I thnk I have an open mind that I try to guard with a healthy skepticism. I'll wait and see on this one. (Might be interesting to see Informant News' financials.) Thanks for the post, OP. |

So either OP is 1) lying or 2) the dumbest individual on the planet. |

The money and legal stuff really don't enter into it until you need to defend your copyright. It costs $30 to register your copyright with the US govt. Most print journals only register once a month or even once a year, and they register everything they've published at once under a single registry. Some short story writers do it that way, too, registering a dozen stories at once. I don't know how web publishers usually do it, but it's probably similar. Copyright isn't much of an issue here, IMHO. |
Informant News User ID: 64126 United States 01/18/2006 09:27 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Take it for what it's worth folks. I have a lot else going on in my life too, so it takes time to write things out so that they are not a mess. I had to put this together in a matter of about 20 minutes. And yes, I wrote it, I own it, but my only concern is some other idgiot taking it for a book or something, otherwise it's free to use. As far as the money we make at informant news, HA, HA, HA. Spent more time and money than ever taken in. I do this work because of WHAT I'VE SEEN AND EXPERIENCED. A teaser? Well, there's a lot more to write about yet, so like I said, I need the time to do it. I don't personally care about getting flamed, or insulted, tough hide, been there many times. But this is important to me, and if it helps even one person to unlock one more little piece of the puzzle, my work is done. Just wait till you see how we were helped in getting to the moon in the Apollo missions! It will explain both sides of the moon hoax theorists. Heresay, yes. True encounter, second hand knowledge yes. But as I stated, I will swear in any court that this is a true account of a meeting I had with this gentleman. Thanks, all comments welcomed. Bye for now. Peace! Joe Held - Informant News |

It is not easy evaluating whether someone who might be a whistleblower is speaking the truth or is just spreading disinformation. More we have to examine, the easier this task is. Certainly looks so far that it might be the real deal. |

Messenger boy (OP) User ID: 64102 United Kingdom 01/18/2006 11:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 2168, did anyone tell you how cynical you are? Let this story run before passing judgement. You just might be wrong for once. I am unimpressed by your naive attempt to look smarter than we credulous fools who are biting the bait. The very fact that some details ARE already known does not discredit the old guy but supports his story. For it is the sort of stuff someone in his 70s, who had not been dealing with highly classified info for 20 years, would be wanting to talk about. Not the latest stuff that no one, including he, knows anything about! So the 'old news' quality of the information given so far is consistent with what he claims to be rather than suggesting it is disinformation or a hoax. So give this story some slack before you rush to judgement. |

I knew some of the pilots who flew them. No way these birds did 10k MPH. More like 2.6k cruising speed. Maybe they had a turbo charged model at Area 51 they shot out of a cannon… OBAMA - THE FASTEST FAILED PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY "I inherated and I am Great!" |

They're just conventional technology pushed to the limit. The OP isn't credible." It's your ability to read accurately that is in question. The spook was referring to the time in the 1960s when the SR-71 Blackbird flew. He did NOT say that it was still secret. What he did say was that its speed was STILL classified. He said he saw in the 1970s 'planes' that were more advanced than the current B-2 and Stealth planes. He was NOT saying that the latter were supersecret or had alien technology. You have misrepresented what the spook said. I am not going to waste the next three hours teaching some of you how to read because, even if I did, I suspect you still would not take in what you had read. Sheesh! |

The fact that you knew guys who flew Blackbirds only at Mach 2 does not deny the possibility that there were other, more highly classified models you and your buddies never heard about because you never had the necessary security clearance that could fly at Mach 10. So your objections are not fatal. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 25989 Canada 01/18/2006 03:25 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | GWEN: Ground Wave Emergency Network (GWEN) The GWEN network was a strategic communications system implemented by the USAF. SRI assisted the government in the site-selection process and in the preparation of site-specific NEPA EAs for 40 relay nodes of the GWEN network expansion proposed in 26 states. Key issues addressed in those documents include the potential for migratory birds to collide with the 299-ft GWEN towers, the potential for corrosion of the GWEN ground plane to cause degradation of water quality, visual aesthetics, and impacts to historic structures. User ID: 60206 United States 01/18/2006 03:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 64164 You can go see a Blackbird in McMinnville Oregon. There is one on display at the Evergreen air museum along with Hughes’s Spruce Goose. If they had another model, it had to have been made out of some other type of material than all the other SR71’s were made of and had a totally different style engine. The structure of the SR71 would disintegrate into dust if you could somehow propel it to Mach 14. Granted it had titanium on the leading edges but that overheated at times at less than Mach 4 speeds. When I was a kid, we put a GTO engine in a 57 Chevy. It was impossible to control and turned out to be a big waste of a cool car. I think you need to talk to an aircraft designer and let him clue you in as to what it takes to be able to fly at speeds exceeding 10,000 miles per hour. Its a whole lot more than having a big engine. OBAMA - THE FASTEST FAILED PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY "I inherated and I am Great!" |
Messenger boy User ID: 64164 United Kingdom 01/18/2006 05:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | From [link to robocat.users.btopenworld.com] My sources estimate that up to 35% of the SDI funding was siphoned off to provide primary expenditures for the Air Force's most secret 'Black Program’, which started in 1982. It is called - The Aurora Program. Aurora is the code name of the ongoing project to build and test advanced aerospace vehicles. For the last few years, high-tech buffs speculated that at least one new and exotic aerospace vehicle existed. The SR-75, the first operational Aurora Program vehicle, went operational after 2 years of flight testing and modifications in 89. The top secret SR-75 is a hypersonic strategic reconnaissance, or SR spy plane, and is called the Penetrator. It is also a mothership, which I will explain shortly. Hypersonic speeds start at approximately Mach 5. The SR-75 replaced the SR-71 spy plane, which was retired in 1990, by the Air Force, who said, "there is no replacement, all we really need is our spy satellites to do the job. Ha! The new SR-75 is capable of positioning anywhere in the world in less than 3 hours. It carries multi-spectral sensors, such as optical, radar, infrared, and laser. It collects images, electronic’s intelligence, signals intelligence, and illuminates targets. The Top Secret SR-75 far exceeds the classified military speed and altitude records set by the old SR-71, which could fly at a still classified Mach 3.3 and reach a ceiling of 85 thousand feet. The SR-75 attained altitudes of over 120,000 feet and speeds exceeding Mach-5, or 5 times the speed of sound. That’s over 3300 miles per hour. From take-off to landing, the stealthy 75 can make the round trip from central Nevada to Northeast Russia and back in under 3 hours. It's 162 feet long and has a wing span of 98 feet. The belly of the vehicle stands 10 feet off the ground. It carries a crew of 3 - a pilot, a reconnaissance officer, and a launch control officer, who doubles as the electronics warfare officer. Two methane and LOx fueled, high bypass turbo-ramjet (combined cycle) engines are housed under each wing, and the bays run some 40 feet under the wings, terminating at the trailing edge of the wing. The explosive Pulsed Detonation Wave Engines that push the huge SR-75 to speeds above Mach 5, are now reported to be pushing Mach 7, or 4500 miles per hour, with the latest engine modifications. Although this plane has been sighted on numerous occasions, has been picked up on military radar, and the pulse detonation wave contrail it leaves behind it has been seen, the Air Force vehemently denies its existence. The 2 large engine bay inlets located under each wing of the awesome black SR-75 mother ship, hang down 7 feet from the underside of the wing and are twelve feet wide. You could drive a Volkswagen Beetle into one of the engine exhausts. The SR-71, and 75, and the daughter ship, the SR-74, were all built by the Lockheed Advanced Development Company, commonly known as the Lockheed "Skunk-Works." The SR-74 Scramp is the daughter ship and rides piggyback on the huge SR-75 until take off. Scramp is from Scram-jet and rocket propulsion. Scram-jet means a supersonic combustion ram jet. Jerald witnessed the flight of the big black Air Force SR-75 carrying the little unmanned SR-74 while inside Area 51. It was sitting piggy-back on its upper raised platform on top of the SR-75 Penetrator.I heard talk about the 75 as far back as the late 70s while at Groom, and I have 2 additional friends who have seen it at Groom.Remember, the SR-74 Scramp can't take off from the ground. It can only launch from the SR-75 mother ship at an altitude above 100,000 feet, and then it can attain orbital altitudes of well over 800 thousand feet or 151 miles. The Air Force uses the Scramp to launch small, highly classified, ferret satellites for the National Security Agency. It can launch at least two 1000 pound satellites measuring 6 feet by 5 feet. The Scramp is roughly the equivalent size and weight of a F-16 fighter. It can easily attain speeds of Mach 15, or a little less than 10 thousand miles per hour. The NASA Space Shuttle is an antique by comparison. The joke is on the taxpayers. If you think these rumors are far-fetched. Look at the YB-49 and XB-70 flown in 1948 and 1964 respectively. Now look at the SR-75 which has been spotted numerous times. You say, the government can’t keep a secret. ----------------------------------- Not too hard to believe therefore, is it, the statement by the spook that there are top secret planes that have done Mach 10? |
