I'm listening to NPR radio, and the guy said that the numbers don't include people that have given up on trying to find a job.

So if everyone that didn't have a job just gave up looking, the unemployment rate would be zero, I guess.

The news media is ignoring signs of mass revulsion towards President Obama. In the West Virginia Democrat primary, a felon got 40% of the vote versus Obama. In deep blue Massachusetts and Connecticut, GOP Senate candidates are even, or leading in recent polls. In pro-union Wisconsin, Walker won by a country mile. But worst of all for Mr. Obama, several recent polls show Romney competitive in Illinois -- Obama’s home state. Romney is actually winning by a landslide in the suburbs of Obama’s Chicago. Even in Cook County, the country’s biggest Democratic stronghold, Romney leads by double digits among independents (43-31) and white voters (53-40). These are very bad signs for Obama.

In 2008 Democrats overwhelmingly controlled the majority of governorships. Today Republicans control the majority of Governorships. Presidential elections are always steered in each state by the governor -- the most powerful force in state politics.

After the 2010 census, electoral votes were added to states that lean Republican in elections: Texas, Florida, Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, South Carolina, and Utah. Deep blue Democrat states like New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, and Massachusetts lost electoral votes.

That brings up an interesting point. Why is everyone running away from these ultra liberal, high tax states in the first place? Isn’t that alone proof of the failure of Democrat ideas?

Even if Romney wins, they will spend the next four years tearing this country down in order to keep his poll numbers low.

The liberal press is no accident... this was part of a communist infiltration of our schools going back 50 years and includes Obama's REAL father - a communist educator. They have screwed-up our colleges and graduates of thos schools have moved into our K-12 schools, newsrooms and government - both carreer and elected.

This may be the last chance we have as a 50-state country to get back on track. I can see a break-up movement just over the horizon as conservative and moderates are so far appart that they will need their own countries.

There are several disturbing things & trends that real Americans patriots should be FRIGHTENED about:

1) MSM have always been left-leaning, but in the last decade they have completely abandoned their critically imporant civic duty and dispensed with any pretence of impartiality & objectivity. The independent, vibrant press IS supposed to be one of the pillars of Constitutional Republic, and used to be one of the best things about the US ---- unlike Nazi, Communist and Islamic dictatorships where press served at the feet of the government masters. "There is no pravda in Izvvestia, and no izvestia in Pravda" famously comes to mind.

2) The Obama has politicized everything including the military, intelligence services and even Beaureu of Labor which blatantly MANIPULATED the September unemployment numbers right before the elections and didn't correct them until after the election. It's possible Romney would be running away with it, instead of being tied or down in swing states. 7.8? Unemployment? Are you kidding me?!! Same with October numbers, which I am sure will be revised after the election. Nevermind that the REAL unemployment when including welfare moochers who don't look for work, is OVER 10% and the under-employment is closer to 20%. Stunning. So when one cannot trust any statistic coming out of government, it's ANOTHER blow to any civilized Constitutional Republic.

3) Republican political impotence & incompetence. Yes, Democrats are crooks and liars. But GOP is letting them get away with murder, sometimes literally (see: Benghazi).

The ONLY time when Republicans matched and exceeded expectations, was when Mitt Romney stunned the world in the 1st debate -- and even then it was clear Obama was not feeling well, was pale and erroneously chose a more 'passive' tactic as per his debate team --- something Obama successfully corrected in the 2nd and 3rd debates when he out-punched Romney on points.

All other times, Republicans see to reactionary, too scared, too ineffective. Democrats hit them on all fronts, all the time -- and GOP cannot muster cogent, coherent, witty, timely answers to the outrageous Liberal lies. And until very recently, it was killing Romney in places like Northern Ohio. The damage is already done, you can only improve so many things with only 4-5 days until the election.

Democrats have a more diverse coalition than GOP but they are UNITED behind Messiah Obama. Republicans until the 1st presidential debate, didn't even like Romney. And they are certainly NOT united

No, Christie is Republican Establishment, a moderate, somebody whose state is right next door to Romney's Massachussets. Christie was supposed to share some kinship with Romney.
