I remember years ago when I was on holiday on the Greek Island Corfu that there was a donkey tied up in the field that I went over everyday I was there with a basin of water & i bought it veggies.
I felt sorry for it dear here&back <3. It did seem to recognize me after a day or two & it let me pet it.

When I done an island tour we visited the house that he grew up in dear friend. It was a long time ago. I was around 20 or 21 at the time.

You too! I also love donkeys...but all I can think of is the video where the donkey efficiently dispatches the coyote and maybe not appropriate to post here. I would have loved a guard donkey for our flock.

same movie --very memorable seeing it as how I was that age back then, and was very shocked--in a way, as was everyone!

Funny how 21 was so long ago, mentally feel close to the same age.
I think I read somewhere, sometime, that you become who you are (psychologically) around age 24 . . .

i love learning something new everyday... a "guard donkey" had no clue.

oh dear. At 24 I was such a ditz.

I think that you are right about that here&back <3. I do feel the same in my head now as I did back then & have pretty much the same outlook now perhaps tempered by a smidgen of wisdom that comes to you with age.
