OF COURSE, it would have been impossible that Bergoglio became Francis without the support of Bertone (he is still the Secretariat of State) because according to Italian reports Bergoglio won the Conclave with almost 90 votes.

I dont know if Bertone (78 years old) would be the next pope but (before, during and after the Conclave) his influence in the city of seven hills is greater than Francis even.

Turkson gave some crazy ass anti-muslim speech before the conclave and freaked all the other cardinals out, not sure why nobody picked the argentine dude since he was second in the balloting last time.
