Why are there so many grown babies nowadays?

It is rooted in the selfishness that has infiltrated society. People don't take responsibility for there own actions anymore. Yet another wonderful side effect of a mentality that somebody else should provide for them. Often that is the government. At times it is somebody who feels responsible for them like parents. And other times it is somebody who doesn't have the self respect to see this person is taking advantage of them. Sad times really. I suspect unfortunately that it will get much worse before it gets better.

at work, me and my boss call them manchildren

currently we have two or three of them in our department we'd like to terminate.

coddled by their mothers, married women who are basically their mothers who coddle them. juvenile manchildren. no sense of accountability or anything because they've always had a women figure coddling them.

these guys are in their late 30's or 40's.

Then why don't you? What's the point in keeping dead weight?

It all started about 25 years ago when some asshole bleeding heart, who probably lived with mummy, decided that disciplining a child should involve time-outs and a stern talking to. Oooooh...scary. A good stout beating or real consequences for your actions builds character and responsibility. Every new crop of kids since then has a higher expectation of gimmies and a total lack of respect. I noticed over the years that parents either don't give a fuck or are really afraid of their kids, it should be the other way around. Thank christ my parents cared enough to help me be a man, and I grew up in a better time with real role models.

It's the hormones in the food and water and all the GMO crap.

Not that there's anything wrong with being nostalgic for the days of youth However, when you can't support yourself or have no desire to that is a problem.

Because people are having children way too young, and they don't have to capacity to be a good parent yet. They still wanna be young, and selfish. They're modeling poor moral values.

I know not all young parents are like that. The problem is too many young parents are like that.
