Concerning tooth pain
This thread is in response to those recent threads about tooth pain. I've had tooth issues my whole life and wanted to share some ideas to others who also have issues with tooth pain. I understand that the super high cost of professional dental care is beyond the means of many these days, myself included, so this is what I am currently experimenting with healing my teeth on my own. I have had success in relieving the pain and I am seeing improvement to my teeth. As with everything, doing your own research is key to determining what is right for you.

1. Action must be taken to eliminate the bacteria causing the decay. I made a homemade toothpaste and now use it three times daily. It consists of coconut oil, diatomaceous earth, tumeric, ground licorice root, dolomite, xylitol, clove oil and peppermint oil. These ingredients all possess properties useful in reducing harmful bacteria and remineralization. I also chew licorice root once or twice a day. I've read good things about licorice root sticks used for brushing but have yet to try those.

2. Eliminate sugar from you diet as much as possible. The sugar is what feeds the bacteria. Xylitol is a good alternative.

3. Eat more foods that alkalize you body chemistry. Avoid highly acidic foods. Alkaline saliva helps heal your teeth, acidic saliva damages them. Read about the benefits of borax concerning bone and tooth health. Egg shells are very similar to teeth and can ground up and mixed into smoothies to help replenish the minerals your teeth new to heal. Be sure to boil them first to eliminate and bacteria.

4. Fill all painful cavities with bee's wax. This is key to stopping the pain. I found some at the local co-op market. Break or cut off a small chunk and hold under hot water until it becomes soft and pliable. Press it into the tooth cavity and scape off the excess. I use a metal plague cleaning kit from walgreens to shape and push the wax in between teeth if needed. Look for the lighter colored wax if possible, it matches natural tooth color very well. The wax dries hard but will not crack like the over the counter temporary dental filling stuff. I have been successful in masking unsightly dental issues and stopping pain. This is better than where I was before. I hope this helps, good luck!
