TV sounds like gibberish
I have the TV on for company, and it is really bugging me. yet I can't turn it off. something compels me to leave it on. I don't watch it but I am hearing the sounds and I think I'm losing my mind. The voices make no sense to me. It sounds like chimpanzees gibbering at each other. Or like a foreign language. Anyone else have this problem?

Maybe I'm dissociating!

Whatever you do don't watch the news or sitcoms. They are the worst. Watch documentaries or something that increases your intelligence. I think survivorman is the most enjoyable show on TV. Or maybe ancient aliens... heh heh

Oh, and when commercials come on, mute the tv and analyze them. You will learn plenty...

Re: TV sounds like gibberish
It is not lonely without it, it is more like I am so used to being bathed in the EMF waves that without those, I feel uneasy. Usually I leave it on the Turner Classics, since they are less prone to brain washing, I think. The sit coms are the worst. They talk so fast and always in that same annoying rhythm, ya know, like

bah bah bah bah BAH
and then someone responds : bah bah BAH bah bah.
Take Frasier for example, that rhythm is like jabbing into my brain. My boyfriend turned it to that channel and went to bed leaving me to listen to this crap.

And it's always the same people on TV. OF all the actors in the world, why is it always the same few who get to be in HBO series? I don't get it. Do these people really exist? Are they CGI?

AM I living in a Truman show? When will the frickin' tinnitus end?

Weird. Something like this happened to me while driving. Had the radio on and all of a sudden the news reporter started sounding like they were speaking an entirely different language. I then got really anxious and felt like I was having an outer body experience..

I had to pull over to get my head straight. It was kinda scary thought maybe panic attack, never had anything like that ever happen.

The voice sounded completely alien but were speaking English.

Could be aphasia - slow onset means possible brain tumor. It started a few weeks ago and seems to be getting worse. Sometimes I can't remember a word I'm trying to say. This kinda sucks.
