Wrong, they did not like Crowley AT ALL. If they did they certainly would have seen to it that the Grand Lodge of Masonry didn't try to sue him and also defame him in the press multiple times. They hated him, because he taught their secrets to those who had the will to learn them not to those who were born into a wealthy family. So, please before you defame someone like Crowley ask yourself what everyone on here should be doing. "Why is this man so blatantly blasphemed and why is it so common knowledge he is evil, so to speak". I usually find when the powerful try to label someone a threat it's usually because he offers truth to the people.
