Anonymous Coward User ID: 47042687 United States 09/18/2013 12:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Okay so I have a pretty long question, got to give you some background. I think the metal balance is very important, I found out I had high iron levels (ferritin > 180) because I eat a lot of red meat. Very low carb diet, I'll have a soda every now and then and some bread on my hamburgers but mostly beef, chicken , eggs, mexican food, stuff like that. So I tried eating more vegetarian for a while to try and get my iron levels down, I felt a lot healthier, and my hair loss stopped which was a good thing of course, but then I got some really bad cavities. Iw as eating a lot of vegetables, a lot of rice, a lot of bread. My question is, it seems like that for overall health and longevity, you want to eat less meat and more vegetables and griains to keep your iron and calcium as low as possible to counteract aging and aging related diseases. HOWEVER, it seems like this diet is not good for your teeth and your oral health, it seems like for oral health I don't have any cavities when I eat a lot of meat and organ meats and very little grains and carbs. What do you think, do I just need a balance? |

This information should be out there for anyone and everyone who wants to know for FREE. We are entitled to this information and knowledge so we can have the tools to heal ourselves naturally! Whenever my dad was sick, he would cover himself with heavy blankets. Said it was what the family had done for generations to cure disease/sickness. Said you always listen to the body. The body knows what it needs to do to survive. You should help it achieve it's goals. He would always be back up and in working order the next day. In the late 80s, I remember taking my daughter to the hospital with high fever. They started dousing her in ice bag sponge bath. I told them no, but they said that a few kids in the past had had seizures because their bodies were just too hot. I got her away from those sponges and into bed as fast as I could. Stayed with her the whole night, letting her sweat. Giving her water to replenish. To this day they still do everything in their power to keep themselves away from any liability. They said they just couldn't have the liability of someone getting such a high temp and it being their fault if something went wrong. Nothing was said about what the actual problem was. They're just doing damage control to cover their own arses. |

There's a lot of bad stuff that's destroyed and flushed out of the system, including cancer cells, when the body isn't using the majority of its energy to digest what's consumed. There are a few really bright doctors who've pioneered research on this subject at the True North Health Center. |

CDC doesn't have antibiotics strong enough anymore - send them an e-mail Hi! Here are my suggestions: - I recommend supplementing with D-Mannose 500mg 2x/day. It is the sugar naturally found in cranberries which is very healthy for keeping you clean and fighting off infections relating to the urinary tract! Except it is much healthier than drinking excess cranberry juice due to avoiding unnecessary amounts of fructose and it is in condensed form!!! -Goji berries are great for sexual health, ED, especially improving libido!! I'd imagine they would help rid Gonorrhea too. I'm not sure you have a libido problem but either way these power-packed superfood berries can only help you!!! Just a couple handfuls a day! - Apple Cider Vinegar. BRAGG's brand is the best! Cheap, raw, and organic!! 1-2 Tbsp in water 2x/day! -Replace butter with Ghee -Make sure you get plenty of vitamin K; Spinach, Kale, Dark leafy greens. The darker the better!! If you can't stand eating them, juice/blend them!! -Korean Ginseng is a natural herb and great for raising testosterone. Also great for improving fertilitysexual health in general! I recommend taking 1-2 tablets per day as needed! - You need to take Probiotics to replace your intestinal flora after undergoing rounds of Antibiotics. This is important! I recommend Dr Ohhira's brand; they are the best, but if you decide to go a different route make sure they are refrigerated or else they won't be as effective. - There are many natural herbs and anti-fungals that are safer and even proven more effective than prescribed anti-biotics!! Garlic, raw manuka honey (internal & external), colloidal silver to name a few. Also make sure you are getting enough vitamin D3! Very important!! 5,000 IU/day is optimal. -The BEST natural anti-fungal of all...Oregano Oil! P73 is the best brand, but a bit expensive!! (although a 1 oz bottle will last a lifetime)! Oh and the smell...delicious! Just 1-2 drops 2-3x/day!! -You also need semi-high doses of vitamin A; and NOT the synthetic kind you will find in GNC multivitamins!!! I recommend Spirulina - the worlds most concentrated source of beta- carotene and 9x more protein than beef by weight!! Not to mentioned super easily absorbed -Use exclusively Coconut, olive, & flax oil!!! -Also recommend supplementing with a good Vitamin C to support yiur immune system in fighting the infection! (Calcium Ascorbate is good; Ascorbic Acid is good too but it has a lower pH and is more acidic. Esther C and NOW Foods are my favorite brands.) Good Luck!!! Its been 3 years now, and it looks like I will have permanent muscle/tendon damage, lowered IQ, brain fog, neurological problems, hormonal imbalance. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 29028163 any suggestions? Hi!! I don't know much about Levaquin, but I can definitely give you suggestions based on the symptoms you described!!! -Vitamin B Complex - Very very very important for neurological problems! Except you need FAT soluble Vitamin B because less than 0.01% of water soluble Vitamim B is absorbed!! These are what you should be looking for!!! Fat soluble B12 - Methylcobalamin ( ~ 3000 mcg/day) Fat soluble B1 - Benfotiamine (~400 mg/day) -You could be magnesium deficient!! Over 90% of Americans are!! Magnesium is great for muscle relaxation and nerve communication!! I recommend supplementing with Magnesium Glycerinate; it is the highest absorbing magnesium whereas Magnesium Oxide will just keep you on the toilet all day!!! I recommend 800 mg/day!! -Brain fog....hmmm, you may have electrolyte imbalance!!! This means Sodium, Potassium, Calcium, and Magnesium (which I already mentioned). -Supplement with Himalayan Pink Sea Salt. It has over 64 trace minerals and is incredibly healthy as opposed to toxic processes iodized salt. Yes, that's right, salt is healthy!!!! If you eliminate all processed salts in your diet you can have 2,500-4,500mg/daily, or 2-3 tsp!! Mix in water. if you dilute the right amount it should taste good like you crave it, not like you are trying to gulp it down!! Best taken first in the morning as it cleanses your system/digestive tract and jump starts you for the day!! -Trigger point therapy and stretching for muscle/tendon damage!! I recommend looking into this and trying to find your own trigger points; and then practice relieving them via tennis ball or a theracane -You need Omega 3 for your brain!! They are called essential fatty acids for two reasons; 1. we need them!!! 2. We don't produce them on our own. I recommend any of the following to make sure you are getting enough Omega 3/daily: 1-2 Tbsp Flax oil cold pressed, refrigerated -2-3 Tbsp raw chia seed -1 Tbsp Krill oil -Or simply fish oil in gelatin...but make sure you are getting at least 1,500 mg/daily!! Aim for higher!! -Ginseng, DHEA, fresh meats (raw; unseasoned; chicken, turkey, wild salmon) all great for hormone production! -Iodine!!! 97% are deficient!! Very important in raising testosterone. On average the Japanese get several thousand times as much Iodine as Americans due to the amount of Seafood/Kelp they consume. I recommend a liquid form but pill is okay, 4-5 mg daily -Cold showers have been clinically proven to boost testosterone and good for hormonal balance. Even if its only cold at the end it's worth it! It sucks but eventually you get used to it!! -Grounding/Earthing pad to regulate circadian rhythms and stabalize free radicals in the body. This should help many of your symptoms! Simply walk barefoot often or visit earthing.com for more info!! Best of luck to you!!! Last Edited by ILoveyouJoy on 09/18/2013 05:59 AM |

What do you think, do I just need a balance? Hi!!! Great question!! I believe the reason you have cavities is from eating too many grains! I recommend you look into Dr. Weston A Price's book "Nutrition and Physical Degeneration." To this day he is still the world's most renowned dentist. Surprisingly, he found that diet, not dental hygiene, was of upmost importance in determining dental health The fact that you are getting many cavities is your body's way of telling you something you are doing isnt working. Our bodies are infinitely intelligent; they don't compromise one health system for another. That's nonsense. All body systems are related. There's no reason you must compromise your dental health in order to keep your iron levels low, or vice versa. -Some people's bodies are more well suited and adapted to grains, whereas most are not. From the symptoms you have described to me I would actually go as far to eliminate most, if not ALL grains from your diet. (I only said most because I understand it is hard to go cold turkey.) But Stop eating bread all together, seriously!! It may seem hard but is definitely worth it. Think of every time you eat you are building your body; putting vital nutrients, minerals, and energy into it. Truth is all bread is dead energy void of any nutrition or life energy. It sounds to me that you're body is more compatible with fat-burning; I am the same way. I used to get cavities as well. Not anymore. Have you looked into the Paleo Diet? It's not something I adhere to exactly, but in general it has many good ideas for people's whose body chemistry is suit for it. If I were you, my diet would consist of: -Turkey, chicken, fish (fresh, wild, raw) *Also avoiding red meat which is acidic and harder to digest (Some people avoid all meats for ethical reasons; I find that my body agrees very well with them, so I eat them) - Healthy fats such as olive oil and avocado -Low glycemic fruits, particularly berries -Dark leafy greens like romaine/spinach (top in olive oil; ditch the GMO Kraft dressings) -Lots of non-starchy fresh veggies (cucumber, asparagus, olives, zucchini, etc.) -Nuts/seeds such as Flax, pecans, Almonds, Chia, Hemp, Brazil, etc -No grains (except rice if you feel the need to cheat!) -Himalayan Sea Salt (once you get off the processed iodized salt you need to replace it somehow) -Avoid all sweeteners, additives, and empty calories like soda! Many people kid themselves by having an iceberg lettuce side salad drizzled in GMO dressing to go along with their burger and fries and call it being healthy!! Unfortunately that doesn't work lol!! Just as important as what you put into your body, is what you DON'T put into your body, and for optimal health that starts with sugar and flour!! Good luck I wish you the best!!! I highly recommend a product called Nerve Support Formula by Wellness Support Network. It is a b-vitamin complex that is fat soluble and better absorbed by your cells and able to help repair the damaged Mylein sheath coating that is often responsible for symptoms of sciatica!! Also, instead of purchasing the b-complex, you could instead buy the b-vitamin ingredients individually which would probably be cheaper!! Just make sure you are getting enough! Have you looked into Accupressure? Many sciatica patients have reported notable relief from simply lying on an Accupressure mat for 20-40 min. daily. There are cheap mats on amazon for under $30 that may be helpful to you! I also recommend looking into Earthing (www.earthing.com) and even sleeping with an earthing pad on your feet and/or using it throughout the day. This should help balance your body's electrical rhythms and reduce some of those shocks and jolting pains that go hand in hand with sciatica Good luck to you, I wish you the best!!! If nothing else, large amounts of romaine, spinach, kale, (whether juiced or in a salad) should offer you substantial health benefits if other veggies are more expensive/harder to access. As for growing, I can't entirely say. I've grown broccolli and spinach myself, but that's about it. Although it may seem obvious, if you consciously reduce or eliminate spending on processed foods, you will have more money left over to spend on health foods. The way I see it is that money is not wealth. Health is wealth!! So spend wisely ;) Hope that helps! Last Edited by ILoveyouJoy on 09/18/2013 04:33 AM |

This information should be out there for anyone and everyone who wants to know for FREE. We are entitled to this information and knowledge so we can have the tools to heal ourselves naturally! My partner has a thyroid issue and is a real pita most days. Is there anything you can suggest to help her with her thyroid? Yes, most thyroid disease is caused by Iodine deficiency!!! I recommend J. Crow's Lugol's Iodine solution 2%. It is a tincture available on amazon for only around $10. The serving size is only 1-2 drops/day in water...very easy!!! Again I am not promoting anything just giving my best advice with my experience so feel free to use whatever you wish!! Coconut oil has also been proven to help support T3 and T4 thyroid levels! Even 1-2 Tbsp/day has benefits. Omega 3 fatty acids are also essential in supporting thyroid. Hopefully these suggestions will help your friend!!! Also, is/was she on any medications non-related to her thyroid disease? I am asking because there have been links associated with pharmaceutical/psychiatric drugs and hypothyroidism. Thanks! Thanks!!!! I will tell her about your suggestions! !! |
